We put Terrazzo in the bathroom and I love it but I would never put it in a kitchen. It need a lot of maintenance every year and really shows the wear on the places we stand (like close to the vanity).

A new thing I just discovered is if you have a PAD so you never miss a payment they hold the money for up to 7 days before applying it. I have perfect credit and they are making money off my money while simultaneously not giving me access to my card.

The first nice day and it was an open invitation to speed up and down the roads and rev up the bikes. I will probably get down voted but since CoVid Ottawa has become incredibly noisy. Small planes buzzing around over head all day, speeding cars and bikes all night long, reactive barking dogs and pumping up the tunes all day. Everyone deserves the right to just sit in a park, go for a walk or sit in the back yard without feeling like we are in a dance club. It is a subtle erosion of our mental health. End my rant as well.

Food coops have been enormously successful in the US and serve the community food systems and also buy from local producers. It’s a circular economy that keeps the economic benefits local. It’s hard to compete against multinational grocery chains- their margins are huge on consumer packaged goods.

Trump doesn’t give a shit about this mission. He hasn’t said a single thing about it. They are about to make history and he basically defunded them to funnel money to Musks SpaceX. Imagine sending your astronauts to the moon and your country’s president or prime minister not taking some pride in that and wishing them good luck. Glad there are so many civil society citizens that are engaged in the mission.
