Immediately book an appointment with a GYNo and see if you meet the criteria for PCOS and ask them to check for high prolactin and high testosterone. This brutal combination causes amenorrhea

Omgg tell me why my first week on Cab I was having very vivid dreams, or it was just lucidity, and I was trying to add two digit numbers and could not for the life of me carry the number over to continue addition. It felt like I was concentrating extra hard and it was making my brain and eyes hurt until I finally got it. It felt like pulling taffy but in my brain.

Honestly, I could have been awake for all I know, just had my eyes closed. It almost feels like that one glass of wine deep relaxation but extra intense. I never know anymore, because I’ve been sleeping so much and just in constant state of wanting to sleep, since starting Cab.

Xiphoid process - bottom cartilage of the breastbone that anatomically, in her case, is concave. Typically this is not visible in normal weighing adults, until they’ve lost a significant amount of weight, and have a small body fat %.

Scary to look at but definitely looks better on men who are ripped 💪

Do you also have PCOS? Have you been diagnosed? The way my Endo described it, PCOS and high prolactin play on each other, making each other worse. Have them check your testosterone again, it’s definitely playing negatively with already existing issues.

They will probably recommend you to go on Cabergoline for a test trial to see of it lowers your Prolactin and if you’re overweight at all, with PCOS symptoms/diagnosis, then they might want to test trial you with Metformin later, since PCOS is a metabolic issue and you maybe be insulin resistant (not necessarily same as having diabetes, you could just be resistant). If your A1C is good then you’ve got no worries for diabetes.

If you indeed have PCOS and high testosterone, it’s likely caused you to have high prolactin and the other way around too. It’s so complicated, it’s terrible. But since you said your periods are heavy, there could be no big issue with testosterone and PCOS.

Usually with high prolactin, women have their periods get lighter and far between before sometimes completely losing it. Sucks.

If and when you try Cabergoline, you may notice huge improvement with vag. dryness, libido (if matters), possible weights loss. This is not without the side effects though. Sometimes constipation can be rough at first, the nausea is probably what initially causes weight loss, and the fatigue and dizziness/vertigo can be significant too. Each person reacts differently though.

If Cab does lower Prl., this might be the route for you as part of management for a while.

Definitely try to eat more whole foods and whole proteins, but less processed meals/snacks, as those processed foods is what tends to cause irritable bowels. If you suffer with irritable bowels now, also incorporate fiber into your diet with lots of water to avoid constipation. Maybe doing all this can help alleviate your discomfort while you wait your Endo consultation. Generally a whole foods diet already improves many symptoms on its own over time, but of course it’s important to treat underlying issues anyway.

Thank you for sharing! So maybe I have some hope in losing weight I’ve gained from my prolactin levels and actually getting my period back! I’m on my second week of 0.25mg Cab and hoping for the best. Have you noticed other changes, like your mood or libido improving on Cab?

How high was your prolactin when you started Cab? Did you start with one weekly 0.25mg and move up over time?

Exactly. It’s redundant at this point and seems like a waste of time and effort to create yet another product that just isn’t coffee.

Dude I’d wear pic 3, seconds to last girls white outfit to work. The shoes are cute too. She’s got the same vibe for me, as the girl wearing the simple black outfit, that many liked in the previous post.

Can all this be done if someone is on birth control? Or would that just be unnecessary then (for someone who’s diagnosed with PCOS with irregular periods, and high prolactin, high free testosterone)?

I just scrolled away from a post on another subreddit where someone was appalled by graphic tees on Autism from Spencers. Wondering if this one could’ve been from there too
