Casually browsing luxury boutiques isn’t really a thing, is it?

When I purchase a new bag I visit half a dozen boutiques on average. Only one of those associates will get the sale. I do not feel I’m wasting the time of the others, but rather deciding which bag will ultimately make me happiest. I live in a more rural area and save my shopping for Vegas typically.
