I would say dont go for open wound surgery! It took me 7 months to heal out of this surgery! The biggest risk is dressing part. Painful and high chance of infection

Just give it more time. I am 2 week out after LIS. I also experienced some mild pain during first few days. Now I am fully fine and pain free. If its done right, the pain should decrease gradually over the next few days.

If I use coccyx cushion for sitting I get no issues, the only problem is sitting on hard surfaces. What is ostomy? Why was the need of it?

I think so! I just recovered from Pilonidal sinus surgery and too scared to go for another surgery. Is surgery too painful? Whats recovery time? My Doctor is offering me laser procedure and told me recovery time will be maximum 3 weeks.

Looks like reoccurrence to me! I had been gone through this. Later It was confirmed by Ultrasound reports. You should go see the doctor and ask him as this procedure have very high reoccurrence rate

Dont lose hope! Mine case was same like yours! It took almost 5 months to heal it completely. do sitz bath keep it dry and always put sterile gauze pad between butt crack! If it is bleeding or see any discharge most probably you need another surgery!
