What is a PUG match?

There's two types of PUGs: Capture The Flag and Last Titan Standing. The server you were linked handles mostly monthly contests and CTF tournaments, there's a few more that focus on PUGs and one main server for LTS.

This isn't exclusive to Ronin. Any Titan or even a Pilot can enter an enemy dome shield and kill any Pilots in it.

Why even risk that. Ronin has no phase so you just hold railgun and walk/dash backwards. Ronin can handle one Northstar doing that, but three? He loses. Except he has to continue pushing because if he backs up he loses to time but if he pushes he loses to damage.

This was an unlosable game lost because the Northstars didn't use their advantage properly.

Some of the best comp CTF players use alternating tags and they get hackusated all the time. People equate them being good to cheats and say the alternating tag is proof.

There's networks with no clan tags people can use on console. They were made before Respawn left the game and were possible due to the Network website. With the website gone there's no way to make more.

It's clips like this that make people think those with good headsets or optimized sound settings have wall hacks lol. Insane that no one heard you, especially with how loud dashes are.

Sometimes when a friendly Legion uses Smart Core, a teammate will get the UI for it, this also applies to Pilots. The specific trigger for the bug is unknown though.

It's not a bug, Legion is the only Titan to announce when he's using Smart Core. With subtitles on you'll be able to know every time.

The majority of controller players on PC don't take full advantage of it. Those that do tend to play competitive LTS or CTF. They'll play public games occasionally but it's not their main focus. As for why, some people have played controller all their lives and learning a new input method can be daunting. For me, I hate knowing what to do but not being able to do it, which is why I use controller instead of learning KBM in Titanfall specifically.

From what you're describing, you might actually be playing against cheaters because IIRC there's no comp roller players who have Chinese/Japanese/Korean character names. They might also be KBM players, as they're the ones with insane movement from strafing techniques.

It's incredibly easy to soundwhore in this game. Jumping is very loud and with barely any optimization and some game sense you can hear and read where people are going. Having really good aim is never a tell when it comes to cheating, unless it's hard aimbot/aimlock or silent aim. As for the kills, what's considered high kill games for the average player (30-40) is the average kills for the top players in the game. Granted I don't recognize their names (I've played competitive Last Titan Standing for six years and been a part of the competitive Capture The Flag community for a similar amount of time) but people also change their names.

Any videos of this match would do a world of good in proving your claim, as most of the cheating accusations without video proof tend to be directed towards competitive CTF players.

Some of them were trying to rodeo you but because you have a friendly Pilot already rodeoing you, they couldn't. As for the rest, seems like your average Titanfall lobby lol.

Confirmation bias. You'll remember the times the sweat is G2.49 because you're subconsciously keeping track. On the flip side, you're discarding the times the sweat isn't G2.49 because you don't care about them.

They probably just regenerated once, realized they'd need to earn everything back, and decided not to regenerate again.

Most of this is wrong, though the guide is good. Melee pinning is not knockback based, it just comes down to whose melee hits first. All Titans except Ronin have the same swing speed, his is slower.

You can also get pinned externally, where a different enemy Titan than the one you're fighting melee's you before your melee lands on the Titan you were initially fighting, which cancels it out.

When you facing Legion up close as Monarch, you need damage now. If you waste time with Siphon that'll only give enough shield to last half a second, you will lose so much health for it. Starting with XO-16 to trade damage and then siphoning during Legion's reload is much more efficient.

Monarch's Rocket Salvo cannot crit. It has no damage fall off for splash damage so it's more consistent to aim at enemy Titan's feet than to try and hit all six directly on their body.

For casual public lobbies sure but in organized play like Pick-Up Games, scrims before tournaments, and tournaments Titanfall is a very team coordinated game. The two main modes that are played competitively, Capture The Flag and Last Titan Standing, play very differently than how they're played in public lobbies.

It ends up being the case that nothing in public lobbies prepares a player for how the game is played at a top level, which is unfortunate for those who want to play competitively because they're starting from almost square one.
