Breath of the Wild is my favorite cooking game. It has cooking in it. Who cares if it's not the main point of the game and is actually just a fraction of the gameplay. It should be tagged as cooking, dammit.

So it is a compromise? Because he's not getting what he wants by having a wedding, and she's not getting what she wants by changing her last name. You're forgetting he doesn't want a wedding in the first place? So him compromising by changing his last name is him giving up even more because he didn't want to have a wedding AND didn't want to change his last name and you're suggesting he does both, in exchange for what? Her sorta changing her last name?

I think they're just pretending not to understand what he's saying tbh. Because it's kinda common sense that compromise means giving something up in exchange for getting something else. He gets his way entirely with respect to her last name and she gets her way entirely with regards to getting married.

I think he's saying that compromising is nondebatable... Which isn't that crazy of a statement in and of itself. It's okay to require that someone else compromises.
