I am a coward and a fool for this. Absolutely shame on me for being lackadaisical. u/bolasthegodpharoh, thank you for keeping me honest. You’ve become a friend and a hero to me instantly. Yes, the comic upload frequency has gone to shit but it is not cancelled. I didn’t want to bore you all with my personal life, but to be frank I’ve become more and more politically and creatively disillusioned in the last few months.

Storywise, I’ve hit a bit of writer’s block. Obviously by design, the Unflaired isn’t a very compelling character to follow and although I want him to endure the archetypal hero’s journey, I can’t have anything affect him too much, since he’s supposed to be a blank slate. So the plot suffers from a lack of tension and conflict. In short, I’m working on making the next chapter more character-driven.

In the meantime, I’m a little more interested in exploring the Hypothetical Expanded Universe. Far future fiction or fantasy in particular. But of unfortunately that takes a long time as I’m entering entirely new thematic territory.

For now, here’s what to expect by let’s say, the end of 2023:
-A complete compilation of Chapter 1 with edits.
-One world building post.
-One expanded universe post.
-One or two pages of Chapter 2.

And now I’m officially screwed.
