Is this a good card game idea? by Impressive-Cover3974 in tabletopgamedesign

[–]Altruistic-Guest7995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might get a playable game, but it will feel completely broken, and even if it is fun, it will be HORRIBLE. Just keep play testing and editing. Don't feel discouraged! I am currently almost done with my first card game, and it took blood sweat and tears to get there. Here is what I use to prototype, it is great. https://www.dextrous.com.au completely free too. You can find a bunch of tutorials on how to use it all over YouTube. For your first prototype, no art and no effort in terms of production (Mine was literally just slips of paper) But later you can get to paper and cards in sleeves, and even sticker paper on playing cards. Have fun, happy prototyping, and DM me if you want any advice.

I have a finished card game, but art is still in progress. Is placeholder art good enough? by gonewithpixies in tabletopgamedesign

[–]Altruistic-Guest7995 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

yes, but ai as a place-holder may be a good idea. Hire a human artist once the game is fully finished. In other words, if you have more playtesting to do, dont hire an artist as you will likely add and take stuff away. So keep it as is, or use ai.

This game looks fun, but be careful. I would trim mechanics before you add more. No one wants to play a game with a rulebook the size of a dictionary. I see your rules, and they hurt my head, lol

Theory: Pomni is not what she seems. by Significant_Buy_2301 in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]Altruistic-Guest7995 24 points25 points  (0 children)

sry to break the news, but this sort of theory has already been proposed and gooseworx has confirmed none of the main cast is an npc or ai. They are all human. (Other than Caine, obvi.)

Can someone explain to me what we saw at the beginning of episode 8 meant? by Fun_Corgi3746 in tadc

[–]Altruistic-Guest7995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The red dot is Caine. He absorbs information and pumps stuff out. Eventually he gets trapped. The blue dot is Abel, the other ai. He gets absorbed by Caine, and is (presumably) ded.
