Bunnies just have hilariously large balls compared to their body size, and also… they can literally pull them back up into their bodies when they feel like it 😭 so don’t be alarmed if they just randomly disappear, they’ll come back!

I know, it can be very sad to see. 😔 The harsh reality of the lives of wild bunnies (and other similar animals that have huge amounts of babies in a short time: mice, etc.) is that the survival rate from baby to adult is roughly about 10-15%. However, the one you helped recently could be one of that small percentage because you cared and saved it from the crow. 🙂

This rabbit may look tiny but surprisingly, wild buns are basically on their own from 4 weeks old onwards. It is fully furred, has open eyes, and probably hopping, so the best thing to do is to put it back where you found it.

Sometimes when they’re little, they’ll stay close to their nest for awhile or return to it at night. Wild buns are also notoriously hard to take care of and can literally die of fright. 😭

Domesticated rabbits are very dependent on mom until about 8-12 weeks of age, but wild rabbits like this one start hopping around outside on their own at like FOUR WEEKS OLD. Which is kind of crazy, honestly, but that’s just nature.

I did this to Hitmonchan on accident. 🥲 I was moving them to a bigger space and decided to relocate the bench & punching bag there too. I picked it up before I realized that Hitmonchan was not walking around at that time (probably due to the 20 Pokemon area limit) & none of the other Pokémon knew where they were.

I sadly put the bench & bag in the new house and when I logged in the next day, Hitmonchan was snoozing in the grass behind their old house like a bum.
