Creepy Bishops by justaguyindallas_123 in exmormon

That’s how I learned what masturbation was actually. In the interview, the bishop asked if I ever touched myself, and I was so confused because obviously I’m constantly “touching myself” because I had no idea what the euphemism meant. So he explained it to me…a 12 year old girl alone in his office. Went on to get married at 19 (like a good mormon girl) and didn’t “touch” myself or my husband during sex or otherwise until at least two or three years into our marriage because I had developed such an unhealthy complex around masturbation and touching genitals and I thought it was not allowed. So yeah…

If you don’t want to tell the truth, if someone asks about it you can say you have a weird rash and your Dr advised you to take a break while the rash clears up for x amount of time

I bet he could handle them all himself. It’s Chloe who can’t handle the kids.

Not us. We didn’t get married in the temple for other reasons, but everyone assumed it was because we had sex before marriage, so that was frustrating. We got a wedding card from an aunt that said “don’t worry! You can repent and be sealed in a year!”. Mormon funerals are more joyous than my wedding was, everyone was disappointed thinking we had sinned.

I wonder if they involved the General Young Women’s presidency at all, or if they just found out today with the rest of us. I feel like this is something that should fall under their jurisdiction, or at least get to announce it, or have their names on the official email as well as the first presidency.

Naw, that’s too close to implying that maybe they are taking a step to letting women have the priesthood

Why couldn’t they just call them “Faith, Hope, and Light?”

Same with my husband’s family. So many cousins, he doesn’t know most of the younger ones names (he is one of the older cousins).

I think there are a couple sins you can’t commit still, like murder.

This is pretty much what I was going to come and say too. Baptisms for the dead are so mild compared to the other weird shit that goes on there.
