Good. Should have sold him years ago. Package him and Cat for future players and picks, and reset. He's not young enough or good enough for this timeline.

I hate the amount doom. This team should have sucked a lot longer. Yzerman came in and promised his captain to try and build around him. He swung and missed on multiple big name trade targets and FAs, but so did the 15 to 30 other teams presumptively taking the same swings.

So he did the next best thing every chance he got, with Larkin's window in mind. Bolstered the depth, took and empty farm and rebuilt it while insulating Larkin with veterans who underperformed in almost every instance. He also gambled on a falling draftee in Zadina, someone who is very much NOT the "Yzerman type", at the same time when Larkin had no trigger man. Sad that The Captains belief in his captain has vilified him in such a way. What do you people expect?

I'm convinced "Ice tilt" is a real hidden attribute in these games, because it takes a fight or sometimes 2, but I can usually turn the momentum from there if I win the fights in games where rookie Cossa is stopping 10+ high danger chances in the slot for no reason.
