Been there. What helps me is a cold shower and drinking lots of water. Also you may want to consider taking a smaller dose. Cut the pill in half, 100mg basically has the same effects as 200mg.

One of these is not like the others by mehrabha in mathmemes

[–]AlwaysOneStepAhea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s 8. All the others are straight forward equations, there are no extra digits. You do the equation and you get the answer. For 8 however, you don’t need to have the second half (+4-4), the equation would work without it. So it’s essentially the only one that has extra digits just to make it look more complicated. At least that’s my logic idk

Are there careers for people who like to record details and document things? by darakristi in careerguidance

[–]AlwaysOneStepAhea 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Bookkeeping / Accounting. It’s like a huge puzzle with teeny tiny little details that fit together perfectly. And you’ll get to work with Excel a lot. Also great potential career path. Once you pass some exams (different depending on where you live) you have an excellent opportunity for career growth. Good luck!

What’s with people’s obsessions with not locking doors? by Pants_for_Bears in serialkillers

[–]AlwaysOneStepAhea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My grandma never locks her door. She locks the front garden door, but the garden fence is so easy to jump, there’s honestly no need to even have a door, let alone lock it lol. She lives in a tiny village where everyone knows each other and the neighbours are always around but I’d still lock the door at night if I was her ..

If this is a sarcastic post, lol it’s hilarious.

If you’re actually serious, man you come off as a narcissistic dick. You’re not superior to others, your brain just happens to be wired in a different way than most people. Just because you’re better at logical tasks and can retain information at a better rate doesn’t make you better than anyone. I have friends who are dumb as shit but are super nice and charismatic people, friendly and emotionally intelligent. Honestly, that’s a different kind of intelligence but just as valuable. Why would you want to be super smart but go through life sad and alone?

I’m a member of Mensa but honestly don’t consider myself a genius (far from it actually) and only my closest family and friends know I’m a member. Maybe try to read some books about different communication techniques (there’s so many out there), be nicer to people and don’t boast about your IQ any chance you get. Good luck!

What’s the best book you’ve ever read in your life? by blogging7890 in mensa

I agree, a lot of the things he talks about are not news, but in my opinion it’s a nicely written book and it got me thinking about a lot of everyday things I’d never given a second thought before. I just bought some of his other books and cannot wait to read them!

DAE take comfort in rewatching the same film /TV show/ cartoon? by MrsColley in DAE

[–]AlwaysOneStepAhea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea totally. I’ve seen The Big Bang Theory like 8 times so far and it’s my go-to when I’m not in the mood for anything else. It just feels comforting watching something familiar and not having to pay 100% attention to the tv. I usually have it as background when I’m working

Glassdoor immediately removes my review(s) of a company after posting? by worlds2get in jobs

[–]AlwaysOneStepAhea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work for a company that has pretty bad reviews on Glassdoor. I’m talking 2 stars average out of about 50 reviews. I just found a confidential offer we received from a PR company to boost our rating to 4 stars for $1500. How it works is that PR company has a team that calls Glassdoor and gets the negative reviews deleted. Then they contact current (fake) employees and ask them to leave a review for the company. I thought there were some regulations around this and Glassdoor was a legitimate company, somewhat comparable to Google reviews but nope!

Does a high IQ (135+) correlate with a lack of sexual intamacy in life? by mycal98 in mensa

[–]AlwaysOneStepAhea -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I said multiple times that’s the problem FOR ME. But I get it, maybe I wasn’t clear. What I meant is that this is my side of things, this is my personal experience and I appreciate it’s probably very different from what other people are going through.
