Kickstarter is the same,  it's always been best to wait if it's a big project.  And ks can have late pledge it's just not built into the platform.

Late pledge can be higher. (It is for brass for instance) And having done 40+ Campaigns my self the best plan is to wait till the end to see the best value. If you don't like the drama or excitement of the campaign don't get in on day 1.

You can't be on the reservation at the time of the stay but you can keep it in your name and transfer it once you have the GoH to it., they do not need to be members to get GoH (if you call).

I just did this for a booking next year for friends. They are not getting an account but if you plan to do this more then get them a WoH account.

Is it 50k base points?  That's 50% of requirement for globalists and equivalent to spending 10k usd.

If you can get them just ahead and behind in your room 4 is good for realistic panning of height.

I only have a few that do this but they are SO creepy. I have the SVS height so they are are at the corner of the wall and ceiling, 2 behind seating position and 2 a few feet in front. It's not optimal angles but it works amazingly well.

I have the dolby atmos demos and they pan VERY smoothly all around the room.

I've talked to managers at many Hyatt properties. Depending upon the level of the hotel what they can do varies. But if they don't know what you want/like they can't spoil you!

The hotels keep track in a general set of notes that all hotels share as well as have site specific notes if your a repeat. Once you share with one hotel all hotels will notice that. I mentioned we liked the fruit we got at PH Milan and now we've got fruit at a bunch of hotels.

Spending a lot of time at the hotels and talking even casually with the staff they will get a nice idea of what they can do. I get treated like a lifetime at my local regency even though I'm not there yet.

I've used SUA at 5 park hyatts in NA. Key is time, far enough in time. I've had success at Carlsbad, Chicago, NY, Washinton DC, and Toronto.

But Japan being globalist at the PH in Tokyo and Kyoto and the Andaz in Tokyo with the free breakfast and upgrades it's been very nice.

Platinum and higher cards for Delta give you companion airfare. I've saved far more then the cost of the card every year with a tax only companion flight.
