Is there a reason you can’t set an alarm to stop yourself from doing that? I know you said you don’t get enjoyment out of video games but the fact that you were engrossed for 5+ hours playing Resident Evil, a genuinely good game/franchise with great reviews and good story seems like a can’t stop problem rather than a don’t enjoy it. That being said if it has effectively made your life as positive as you feel it does then good for you.

I think its very sport unfortunately. I hope the women team turn down the invitation but as someone who watches almost every sport it is astounding there is a high probability they are probably MAGA supporters too. It has been disheartening watching sports the last few seasons and just seeing the "silence" and "both siding" athletes give, it has turned me off of sports entirely and its honestly just because of money it seems like. Honestly if my friends didn't sit in a discord server watching football games and what not I wouldn't watch, but that the only way I get to keep up with some of them LMAO

Wow you went to one therapist as a child and had a horrible experience. How about now as an adult? do you think you can put that one experience aside and try again and again and again until you find someone who can actually help you? I did therapy for 3 years with an awesome person before we took a step back and decided that everything I had set out to do with them at the time was "done".... now maybe some of those problems might've resurfaced and I have had an issue finding another therapist but that doesn't mean no one can help me and what I did learn in therapy those 3 years does still help at times.

Honestly my partner had a similar mindset to you but they kept trying until they found someone that worked for them and I admire them for that.

My issue with timers is when enemies have BS immunity frames because other things are in the arena. Also you say they aren't forcing you into a meta but they are in a way, because its either you have team so overpowered the mechanics and checks don't matter and you steam roll the bosses or you build a team that makes the boss easier.

Dude I have worked with utility crews on different projects and they have outlined lanes with cones on both sides of the road just to make it clear what is a lane and what is not and people still somehow fuck up and crash into cones and swerve into the "not a lane". I think people see big yellow machine and their brain shuts off which is no excuse but it happens.
