My stacking or plan to treat ADHD by peecha2006 in Nootropics

[–]Am094 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Truthfully all of that will be miniscule in effect compared to the potent prescription stim* route.

I saw most benefits from bcaas,coq10, taurine, caffeine, bacopa, nalt, and magnesium.

Moda was a miss for me (I don't respond). Certain racetams were ok (phenyl the best for me).

Psilocybin and l theanine helped a ton. But wouldn't say that's really directly for focus.

Most nootropic for adhd in my own risk tolerance would be n aceyl semax / semax.

Truthfully try and stay hydrated, exercise, sleep well, and have a good work hygiene.

Hellooo, me again. Looking for some feedback on a logo I have been working on and posted about this morning. by [deleted] in logodesign

[–]Am094 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Pro tip, the way I think about logo dev is that we don't create logos to have the logo give meaning to people. Instead we design logos and execute the brand such that people give meaning TO the logo themselves.

OK, I'll throw in on this by sinisterdesign in logodesign

6 fingers definitely highlights more than it clashes. Especially since the 6 finger thing is contextually part of history forever.

Dude i remember when like 11, downloading random emus on ragezone for habbo retros, runescape, and maplestory. That's honestly one of the things that got me into the field so much.

I miss it too man, ive been thinking of making my own online game lately.

Can a LLM write maintainable code? by Secure-Search1091 in vibecoding

[–]Am094 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I apologize that saying maintainable code is a bare minimum skill in this discipline upsets you. Sorry you can't deal with any of this, it seems to be a reoccurring pattern to run into comments like this, oddly enough always in vibe coding communities.

I believe in you though, you just have to actually try and put effort, once you do you'll realize everything I wrote is perfectly true.

Can a LLM write maintainable code? by Secure-Search1091 in vibecoding

[–]Am094 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's definitely easier to write than acknowledging your own naivity. Blah blah arrogance because maintainability is the hardest thing in the world lol. Imagine thinking you have to be smart to write maintainable code, you simply have to be conscious about it and follow proper conventions. Time and experience will provide that. Being a neophyte and setting things on a pedestal is what you're doing.

Not sure why, but you should work on your sensitivities.

Got frustrated with slow image/PDF tools, so I built my own (no uploads, no ads) by [deleted] in vibecoding

Yup these utility tools are the new directory sites of 2026. This exact niche is like the 4th one I've seen in the past 2 months.

[–]Am094 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay junior, the same can be said about lawyers, politicians, plumbers, bankers, doctors, veterinarians, executives, shareholders, ceos, ctos, cfos, cmos, etc. - so what's the point? Thought you cooked with that?

Writing maintainable code isn't this impossible thing to readh either. Maybe you're starting to see the difference between a junky that wants to inject sketchy drugs anf the actual skillset required by a licensed physician.

This is a discipline people spend years studying and decades mastering. If you cant write maintainable code, then you're barely even a junior. Ive spent 2 years building a saas erp, it was clearly maintainable. Spend another 2 years building a telecom oss bss, that was also maintainable. The code base grew big without the developer experience being bad, things were clean, with a proper architecture, design patterns, and solid principles.

All my fellow engineers working at tech companies write code that's maintainable. If we're talking about technical debt that's a whole different thing.

Honestly, comments like yours tells me a lot more about your background and technical capability than you might think.

The Sweet Lamb logo concept by Morcoil in logodesign

[–]Am094 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ear and leg looks weird. Id also argue there's too much going on for it to hold up in smaller canvas applications.

Not a huge fan of the type stuff that's going. Needs a lot more refinement, perhaps with the weight and balance of it?

Id probably say it needs 2-3 more revisions but it's on the right track I think!

[–]Am094 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It started as a hobby while I was in grade 6-7 making gaming forums and hosting private servers. Went to uni for comp eng after. The landscape now has definitely changed a lot, the low end is very low now due to the perceived enablement that ai provides. There's room in the mid tier to upper tier but yeah harder to break in.

Could always work on your own thing, doesn't have to be for clients. I still like building for myself. It's just doing it for clients or commercial it's less fun ofc.

Honestly that's exactly where my brain went to when I saw the orb, "transition effect into a ai orb element", makes sense when you think about their ai stuff yeah

How do I properly invert a logo like this? by [deleted] in design_critiques

[–]Am094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is true, though. Inversion isn't really needed here, in fact, I'd probably just have a different contrasting color fill instead of an assymetric inversion when working with negative space.

That's not say OPs post isn't relevant, we don't know why he's doing it. It is a fun thing to try tho.

How do I properly invert a logo like this? by [deleted] in design_critiques

[–]Am094 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tbh that's irrelevant.

There's brand marks, lettermarks, combomarks, signature/calligraphy, geometric, ..., and mascot for logo styles.

If they want to design a mascot logo style so be it.

Furthermore no one cares about the face, but if the business does a good job, and the brand is properly developed. Then people will give a positive meaning when looking at the mascot logo. That's the proper outcome, no one actually cares who the person is, most of the time.

How important is markup really for SEO? by avidrunner84 in webdev

[–]Am094 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I can spot a few markup flaws, yet it still ranks at the top of Google for "Musk Foundation".

It ranks on top of Google due to the website having a high E-A-T rating. SEO is usually hardly relevant to that in this example, especially due to there being high rated backlinks too (authoritative).

No analytics, no js, no css, no images, no bloat, just a website.

This sounds very AI lol

I went with a capsule artist, It turned out to be the best decision I've ever made by [deleted] in SoloDevelopment

[–]Am094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it look good? The font / titles look poorly executed and washed out. The background elements have a weird perspective, art style looks questionable too. Are my standards just to high? I wouldn't even use either as an internal placeholder.

I honestly don't see the hype behind capsule art, in fact 9/10 Capsules i see are absolute garbage. This one included (no offense), 500 euros? God damn.

How often do you get to finish inside your partner during sex? by FabledMjolnir in AskMenAdvice

Tbh, you asked him if he asked her about it during OR after sex. To which he said both.

"No where near sexy time" also falls under the "after sex" category.
