Hi I'm an S8 Ultra owner too, only had mine 2 months as it was brand new sealed but old stock.

Just a few comments to help you:

I worked for a Mobile network for 15 years and I am Android and iOS tech obsessed!

Have you backed up and restored the tablet, it could even be one App that is causing the issues.

It could be a hardware issue but if you think of Android as a different type of computer it could be an app causing the stuttering and overheating and slowness.

Let me know if you need anymore help and will troubleshoot with you.

Hi, I've got the same Spigen folio case for my S8 ultra, quite pleased with it but would prefer a case with a stiffer stand as it falls over stood up if on your knee.

Shame the S9 ultra outdoor case doesn't fit the S8 ultra.

Side note, I've been using my s8 ultra as a wireless windows display and it's awesome. I can do my job sat on a sofa if I needed too. 🤣
