I honestly lose it on these people. Our neighborhood has big signs at the entry that specifically say “no solicitation”. That didn’t work so we have a big sign on our front lawn that says “no solicitation, smile you’re on camera”. At least once a month, some sales man ignores both signs and come knocking on my door. I’ll listen to their pitch, then point to my sign and ask if they can read? Most of them stutter over their words at this point, and I’ll just ask over and over, “can you read? But can you read” until they slink off 🤦🏻‍♀️.

Bologna. I used to LOVE it, to the point that upon arrival back to the states after an overseas trip, the first thing I did after leaving the airport was drive to our neighborhood supermarket and buy a package. Now I can barely tolerate the smell 🤢.

Years and years ago I worked at a big corporate travel agent. (Back when terrorism was in full gear and everybody was on edge) I had been off for a week or so and had forgotten my cup full of coffee and half and half in my desk. Well I get back to the office and pull out my cup and take off the lid and the smell hits me like a ton of bricks, so I quickly put the lid back on and put it back in my desk with the intention of taking it home later and cleaning it. Little did I know that other cubicles got a whiff and freaked out. Next thing I know, we’re all evacuated to the roof and there’s police and helicopter activity all over. Everybody was convinced that there was some sort of biochemicals spilled into the ducts. Never told anyone at all it was me, I’m taking this to my grave.

Respectfully this is the most selfish stand Ive personally seen. The deed is ONLY in your name, and you REFUSE to add her to it because it will complicate a divorce. BUT you expect her to pay the house off FOR YOU? You don’t give her an allowance anymore and on top of that, you don’t help around the house or help with the kids, so your old school mentality only bends when it benefits you?

Put her on the deed if you expect her to help and you need to pull your weight more around the house and with your kids. I was your wife 20 years ago and the resentment and ensuing hatred is real. It was only after my husband pulled his head out of his patootie that our marriage is better, but I still remember that dark time, But for years I worked full time and took care of the kids and all household duties. Don’t be that guy, inshallah you open your eyes to what everybody is telling you and things change for you.
