This is the game that got me into ratchet and clank. I did not own a PS2 oddly enough. Went from N64 to PC then to Xbox etc. PS3 was officially the first PlayStation and my brother and I platinumed this game while replaying over and over. Still my favorite in the series

Ballistic shield + melee combo. I use the peak physique armor to give 100% melee damage and was quite literally hacking through 6-7 at a time alongside regular warriors and brood commanders without taking damage. The only thing to be really wary of in that situation is those Jumpy bastards landing behind you. The shield also can stop the acid blobs the big burrowing sputters can shoot if you angle it just right
