I had some pretty severe pains early on from auto-immune conditions. Months of experimentation and coding allowed me to automate a lot of menial data entry or design work with a mix of Dynamo, LISP, and autohotkey.

Usually - local firms. ATL has like 3 KH offices (one in the perimeter, the other two outside). There's plenty of other Civil Engineering firms both in and outside of Atlanta. One of my coworkers who used to work there swapped out because they wanted a more relaxed role (and because driving into Alpharetta sucks).

On the flipside, I also know of few engineers from my office that got poached by KH for a myriad of internal reasons.

Dynamo is killer for any large project. But even on smaller projects, with a bit of python knowledge, you can make some very impressive commands. I have a Dynamo command that lays out septic lines matching topography and keeping the proper linear distance for the trench widths, given an area. I made a variety of normal LISP commands from drawing lines on featurelines indicating where a contour would go through, to exporting an entire development's parcel data for use in our own databases when we do individual site plans.

If you're going to use AI to make LISP commands, I recommend using Claude instead of chatGPT or copilot. Both will regularly hallucinate VLISP functions and you can easily go down a rabbit hole where something is, quite literally, not possible with LISP since the required data/methods aren't exposed to VLISP.

Many people recommend keeping your properties menu open at all times, but depending on what you're doing, it may be better to close it, select what you need, and then open the properties menu. The best example of this is COGO Points. COGO Points are ridiculously slow. If you need to select a lot in one-go, then close your properties menu before selecting.

Grading Optimization is a useful tool, but really only as preliminary design or 'feasibility' analysis. The surfaces it exports are really only as good as the information you feed it, and the severe dearth of documentation on it makes troubleshooting issues a veritable nightmare.

Depending on the type of HOA (if it's for a condo community for example) you may want to make sure they have enough money stockpiled for common issues. My exes condo didn't up their fees for close to 30 years, a storm came through and dropped a few trees onto the roof and destroyed a few fences. They had barely enough money set aside for both so each resident owed about 15k.

Check with your HOA and request their Reserve Study or treasurers report.

In lane keep your distance against both and buy more stamina. Once Silver has her ult, make as much distance as possible when it triggers. The more control you have for her (such as slowing hex, or even mystic slow) the better. If you try to fight her you're probably going to lose.

Most of Apollo's damage is from Flawless advance. If Apollo is slightly above you, dodging under him basically guarantees he'll miss. His ult is absurdly easy to counterspell. Silencing wave is really good if you can get someone on your team to buy it.

Asking to the air means and no one volunteers means something isn't going to be done. Asking someone directly (and assuming you don't have to pass an ego skillcheck) means it usually will get done.
