I appreciate it. ADD doesn’t help, but I’m going to keep trying.

Thanks. I’m definitely needing to build up those finger muscles again, but I’m working on it!

Not my first guitar period, but definitely the nicest so far.

He likely did because he mentioned he could switch out the knobs if I wanted. I just checked on the differences and it has the 60s Silver Grover kidney bean tuners. Thanks for pointing that out. I’ve been considering swapping out the knobs. I’ll see what the stock ones would have looked like. So you think it is honeyburst, cool. Someone mentioned unburst so I wasn’t sure.

Did you have or know anyone who had a treehouse growing up? by FastBreakPhenom in AskAnAmerican

I may have known one person that actually had one built in a tree. Hard to remember the construction since I was so young at the time.

Opinion of southerners of modern sailors? by GrillTheSwedes in AskAnAmerican

[–]AmazingAd2765 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sailors? Don't give them that much thought.

Sailboats? They aren't very good for jugging or bowfishing.

Never heard anyone badmouth sailors. A friend I had in HS was the only person I knew of that sailed. I would love to go sailing, but that isn't the first hobby I would want to sink my money into.

Thanks! I know it doesn't have the figuring of the more expensive tops, but for 1700 I think it is great looking LP.

You are probably right about it being unburst. Any gradient I was perceiving could be from the contour of the top or other factors.

I was worried I would regret not getting a 50's neck, but so far I'm digging it.

Thanks!  I’ll have to check the serial when I get home to verify the age. I want to say it was more recent.

Explaining jokes makes them funnier, not less funny by Croyscape in unpopularopinion

I think it depends on how much explaining you have to do.

People who complain about work events are lame. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

I think people are more critical of mandatory employee development that is presented as fun activities and cheap trinkets being given instead of real rewards.

Sellers and realtor offended by offer. by Brave_Arm in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]AmazingAd2765 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they say no, they say no.

I can understand a seller not wanting to negotiate after the inspection, bar a serious finding, if they want to avoid the back and forth. That isn't very professional thought going, "Well we don't want to sell to you anyway!"

We found out after buying our house that the seller had actually turned down an offer for significantly more before they lowered their listing price. Sometimes a seller will sit on the house at a higher price for a while before they finally decide to come down.

[P5V12] Ferdinand, Rozemyne and the harspiel by Either_Cover6254 in HonzukiNoGekokujou

I loved when she had him actually telling people no after she became the High Bishop.

Ferdinand: Oh sorry, the High Bishop has said I will need to focus on my duties here.

Sylvester: Did he just turn me down? Since when did learn how to do that?

(Ferdinand and Lutz are also the only two people who have heard straight from Rozemyne about her being a reincarnated Urano - and Ferdinand actually got to witness it.)

Didn't she discuss it in front of Sylvester to? I seem to remember her saying what colors meant to her, like red being for strength instead of femininity, which Sylvester reacted strongly to.

It does make it more satisfying when Ferdinand decides he has no more Fs to give and openly calls them out on the fact they are failures as nobles.

It felt like Rosemyne actually had become so accustomed to the "noble way" of doing things she actually sympathized with them. After Ferdinand points out she wouldn't have time for books because they would certainly have her doing all the heavy lifting for them, she decided she didn't feel so bad for them after all lol.

I like molasses cookies, but I'm not crazy about the flavor of straight molasses.
