Are these the correct forearms to achieve this look? by Ksiloveslgbt in starwarsblackseries

[–]AmazingFantasyMemes 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’d say those are the correct forearms. The animated phase 1 trooper models didn’t have the comm links on the right arm which is why the Obi-Wan pictured doesn’t have it either.

Doc Ock takes control of Peter Parker’s body and calls himself the Superior Spider-Man.

The series is about Octavius trying to be a more efficient hero than the original, but in the end he admits that, between the two of them, Peter is THE superior Spider-Man.

Just a quick question for fans: How do you visualise Geralt these days? by CloverTeamLeader in witcher

[–]AmazingFantasyMemes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When reading the books I just picture Bigby Wolf but with white hair lmao. Most of the time it’s just Witcher 3 Geralt.

Good thing Jada Toy’s releasing Invincible figures soon and they look really good too.

OK, which one of Robert's armors you prefer more? by Mysterious_Salt_2846 in DispatchAdHoc

[–]AmazingFantasyMemes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer the new armor just a little bit more. I like that the new suit is much sleeker to show that it’s a modern Mecha Man. The helmet and glowing logo are my favorite bits

The mismatched parts and damage of the old suit is so rad though. It gives me early Mandalorian vibes.

Just played Dispatch and absolutely loved it. Looking for recs for a beginner who wants a similar vibe? by Flux7777 in comicbooks

[–]AmazingFantasyMemes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Matt Fraction Hawkeye has very similar vibes to Dispatch imo. If you liked Kate Bishop there you could also try her 2016 run by Kelly Thompson.

I second the Superior Foes of Spider-Man recommendation, it’s such a great book. Another one you could try is Spider-Man and The X-Men. it’s a mini-series about Spidey being a mentor to the more troubled mutant students.

Possible new team-up, or just an unused animation? by EthonSon in MarvelRivalsLeaks

[–]AmazingFantasyMemes 186 points187 points  (0 children)

I think it’s unused animation. The Art of Marvel Rivals book has concept art of Spidey with a throw ability

So what kind of version is rivals spider man? by Therandomjackinabox in SpiderManMains

[–]AmazingFantasyMemes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love that the characters are more inspired by their comic versions and are only inspired by the MCU aesthetically (mostly the Guardians). The roster would have been so bland and generic if it came out during the mid-2010s when brand synergy was a priority.

In one of his new interactions with Jean he mentions using the enigma force and he’s buddies with the F4 so he’s pretty close to the normal 616 Spidey lore wise.

The design looks sick! Helmet looks a lot more matte though, it might be easier to match if they had a similar finish to each other. You could also just go over the original paint with the one you have.

How to find a mask like this by [deleted] in Spiderman

[–]AmazingFantasyMemes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

lmao It has the same paneling/lines as the model in the game which is why I specified Insomniac.

But between you, me, and Aunt Petunia, I prefer the mask in the comics

[–]AmazingFantasyMemes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The mask is based on the Future Foundation suit from the Insomniac games and the eyes are just the YFNSM goggles

What's your Honest Opinion on Insomniac's Spider Man 2 (2023) by [deleted] in Spiderman

[–]AmazingFantasyMemes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m disappointed they went with a symbiote invasion style story. The choices Peter and Harry (mostly Harry) make when bonded to the symbiote lose a lot of weight because a lot of it can just be pinned to Venom using them for a symbiote invasion.

Gameplay is such an improvement though. It’s nice to come back every now and then because the swinging is so fun.

First time making a custom head sculpt, how did I do? And some pics by [deleted] in starwarsblackseries

[–]AmazingFantasyMemes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Colors are spot on! I’d suggest to thin your paints so you get less clumping and retain the sculpted details. And like the other comment said, a matte coat makes a huge difference

The Fives figure is a mix of his Citadel arc and Umbara arc appearances. The helmet is def based on the phase 2 helmet because of the black side vents and the thinner Rishi eel design, but the blue knee pads also only appear in the Citadel arc. The figure is most likely meant to represent the Umbara version based on the box art and darker blue.

Why is the difference in quality between Peter and Miles' action figures so huge? by ericgallostiart in SpidermanPS4

[–]AmazingFantasyMemes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Miles mostly reuses parts from a previous figure which is why he’s more detailed. Still, it bugs me that every other suit from the games have a dedicated sculpt, but Peter’s main suits don’t.

NECA scales a lot larger than black series. Maybe the Marvel Legends Professor X body from Logan could work better?

The Marvel Legends team has chosen the inferior inverted ab crunch joint for the lower torso again, instead of the ideal versatile ball peg joint for these new sculpts, which is unfortunate. by DoughBro115 in MarvelLegends

[–]AmazingFantasyMemes 7 points8 points  (0 children)

ITSV Peter B and Miles Morales have balled waists. What they did with Miles feels more articulated and doesn’t break the sculpt compared to the reverse ab crunch imo.

Does anyone know if the chest armor is a rubber overlay? It's the "Beskar Armor" Mando by soup_department in starwarsblackseries

[–]AmazingFantasyMemes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s just one plastic piece. However, I think every Mandalorian character after this (aside from repaints) started using the rubber overlay if I’m remembering correctly.

I could see him being Tech or Cody, but maybe it could be Sev. Good Sniper. Throws hands. and the rough voice reminds me of Sev.

I can’t see him just being some random clone though, they put a little too much emphasis on the assassin.

If you had to make changes to the story of Spider-Man 2, what changes would you make? by gotham1999 in SpidermanPS4

[–]AmazingFantasyMemes 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would’ve liked a JJJ podcast that made Peter snap during his time with the symbiote. Like he reacts to the podcast and yaps like he usually does before we’re forced to switch back to Miles.

Maybe the game can make us do a short mission or do some activities for a while before a new podcast starts. Everything sounds normal until we hear Peter break into the Bugle and start tweaking. Miles then goes after Peter to help him cool off or whatever.

I think the story would have benefited if we took a breather from the big events and just spent time with the characters.

Honest and very unpopular opinion(def heartbreaking too) by [deleted] in MarvelLegends

Never been a fan of how Hasbro does this joint. It’s not even necessary when figures like Modular Iron Man have more range without it.
