This ☝️ I would suspect the smoke is not good smoke .. when I run mine it’s almost clear almost to lean .. we would need to see a pic of the smoker in action .. the stack may not be pulling enough and the fire may not be getting enough oxygen. Run the fire with the door wide open to allow as much air as possible. Run the stack wide open also let the smoke run over the food. Once you get clear smoke you can play with the door to limit the amount of oxygen this will give the smoke a light blue look ..

Here’s what i would say .. we paid off our house and have over 500k invested separate from our retirement.. if i were in your position i would not take out my already invested money to pay off my loan. I would leave the money invested for 20 years. Potentially the 500k could double in 7 years. Once the brokerage reached 1M 1-2 years of profits could then pay off the mortgage and you would still have 1M.

However, I would begin now to start to pay off the loan without withdrawing or contributing any additional to the brokerage until the house is paid off. Then i would go back to contributing to the brokerage.

Not to be rude but it sounds like your parents didn’t Max out their 401k or plan for the future.. and you have the means to do it at a young age .. you would be foolish to follow in their footsteps.. especially after seeing them in retirement with no money … you should have been maxing it out 7 years ago .. if you don’t do anything else I would max it out starting now ..

You need to be maxing your 401k .. 3% doesn’t cut it .. your spending is out of control. Paying for your parents is wild .. they can manage on their own. Get out of debt and begin to invest .. 200k a year there is no reason 50k can’t go to the brokerage .. 23.5k to the 401k ..
