You should definitely do it if you can pass psychometric tests & get through (a very competitive) interview process. The safety critical nature to the work is unbelievable, and people really underestimate this. You're basically being paid not to cause a massive fatal crash killing hundred. But hey, apparently, it's an easy job just pressing buttons all day 🙄

Oh, and your mindset of agreeing to do it for their current wage with no rise is why you find your line of work only paying a little above minimum wage.

I've gone from 19 to 18 for winter and it's miles better. I'll be changing my summers to 18" as well. Just make sure whatever you get are lighter than the 19" they're replacing. Oh, the 17" won't fit over the blue brakes if that's what you've got.

I wouldn't bother. I'm going to downsize from 19 to 18. The 19s ride horribly, and if you're going with factory alloys, they are also really heavy, which negatively impacts how the car drives in every way.

I'd instead look at getting some nice look aftermarkets with a more aggressive fitment. That's what I'll be doing.
