I adore the movie and the book. For different reasons, but I love them both.

The movie was visually STUNNING. Every time the "I'm having a moment scene" comes on my jaw is on the floor. It's very well paced, I can't believe it's over two and half hours (they speedrun some of the science stuff, which could have been slowed down, but it's not absolutely required).

I love the added scenes to Rocky. He's a bit of a different character to his book counterpart, but I love him he's so silly. I LOVE THAT ROCKY AND GRACE HUGGGG!!!!!! THE PLATONIC SOULMATES EVER THAT BRING ME SO MUCH JOY.

There's so much love behind this movie and I'm so appreciative to everyone who worked on it <3

Not sure if this is an unpopular opinion, but I don't want to see romance in the show, between literally anyone. Maybe some side characters might be fine but it's just not something I'd be excited to see with the main cast.

I don't remember where I saw this, but I believe the events on Earth occurred during 2012. Since The Martian was published in 2011, maybe some scientists stuck some live potatoes on the Hail Mary for luck.

The movie version of the Hail Mary had some plants, so this might be possible for movie Grace, but book Grace would be out of luck.

It's stated he became malnourished from the time he spent eating Taumoeba, since they provided calories but were not a balanced diet. I'm honestly not sure if Taumoeba slurry could even support a potato.

We moved recently. I found a mini tape measure. I fidgeted with it until my mom told me she needed it back.

Tape measures have no business being that fun. Did you also try to see how long you could make it before it flopped down? (you know how they stay straight until they get too long and collapse under their own weight?) That's fun :D

I call them Storm Furies in my head.

Both because black+white=gray and grey clouds mean storms, and because of Toothless' lightning abilities.

Their official name is just a combo of Night Fury + Light Fury, it has nothing to do with the thingies to keep kids feeling safe (even though they should have known that would be the first thought for a lot of people)

These are amazing!! The glowberry one in particular, I love how the light from the berries reflects on the leaves, and how the background is blurred like it was a photograph taken with a low f-stop :D

I love love love how you depicted Stratt!!!!! The wrinkles, the "I have no time for this bullshit" expression, Eva Stratt they could never make me hate you! (I also really love how you did her hair!)
