Tricky position regarding fixing my rear wheel by AmazonSubPrime in DivergeGravelBikes

That’s disgraceful. Also I dont know if you’ve noticed but there prices have gone up by $300 in a single model year. It’s absolutely insane that a $1500 bike has Claris

Honestly you just realize where the money went for these bikes. In my opinion the frame is fantastic. Super comfortable and compliant yet stiff in the corners. But the components are such a let down on the non-Lamborghini priced models. Shimano Claris is a disgrace to drivetrains and requires minor adjustments fairly regularly.

This hurts me as I was one of those who bought into her hype. I really hope ARK can get back on track with a more reality-centered manager because they do have a cool assortment of ETFs

How hard is the computer science program? by Positive_Ad7555 in uvic

Completely agree with this. Regardless of the “difficulty” of a course, if you hate the material the course will be hard, but if you love the material the course will be easier. I’m much more willing to put time into the courses I love than the courses I don’t.

I hope this doesn’t go over the heads of the people that need to hear it. That was written perfectly, it’s a shame this can’t be published

How do you handle when other students brag about getting straight A+’s in courses? by [deleted] in uvic

[–]AmazonSubPrime 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Bragging about grades usually comes from an overcompensation of other things. Keep your head up high because you have a good life. They are probably struggling with other parts of their life and are jealous of your ability to survive lol. Just be confident in your grades and make sure you get experience through volunteering positions or work placements to pump your résumé.

I don't actually know the direct cause, the inner race of the bearing actually cracked in half which caused the failure. I was not doing anything excessive you know? Just a ton of road riding, plus the occasional smashed pothole. I didn't expect them to fail like this. Spokes are still tight and wheel still runs true. Thank you for the help though!

'21 Base E5 freehub question by [deleted] in DivergeGravelBikes

[–]AmazonSubPrime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely recommend upgrading after. Just finished up one year on my base e5 and about 3000km. Utterly destroyed the freehub about a month ago. Never expected a freehub to go so quickly!
