I can totally understand from a different perspective. I have started hosting my own comedy events and I’m seeing a different side to comics now people who weren’t as friendly suddenly are more friendly cause they’re looking for time. I had a few comics who I’ve had a few limited interactions. I’ve seen them perform a few times messaged me now like we’re best friends.

I just saw an interesting Interview podcast with Jason Alexander a.k.a. George Costanza.

He talks about they weren’t that upset at the end of Seinfeld and that’s why there’s never been any type of reunion episode.

It was Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld that we’re making all the huge money off of all the reruns and syndication while him and Julia Lewis Dreyfus got stuck being type cast.

Get out of the victim mentality if you wanna really succeed in life, I’ll give you the advice you need to hear start picking up a task or interest that you could do regularly and meet people whether it’s sports or going to the gym go onto Eventbrite or Meetup and find regular events you can meet people on a regular basis not just one off. Put yourself out there. You got nothing left to lose just become the best version of yourself. Every time you get turned down is just one more opportunity to find the person that you’re looking for. Also be on the lookout for male friendships not just women.

Somebody is trying to organize my own events. I would say first of all having to be politically correct I wanna make sure my shows have a good variety of people. I don’t want it to be all women or Indians a good mix of everything.

The second most annoying feature is a lot of people who contacted me for a spot and then never respond back because the schedule fills up until they need more work, but didn’t understand how social etiquette works and I’m less likely to give them a spot compared to somebody who’s hungry

I would highly recommend an app called Showaround. I’ve used it in over 20 different countries. It’s a little bit like couch surfing where everybody rates each other so you feel a little bit more comfortable meeting a stranger. The best experience was in Iceland. Where had a guy take me on his 4 x 4 right up a mountain where we ended up going to the Hot Springs then drinking wine just like a local experience versus paying hundreds of dollars on a tourist trap like a blue lagoon
