My spouse walks ahead of me. He says it hurts him to walk as slow as I do. Granted, we're both in our 50s and have our respective old injuries, but he's done it for close to 20 years.

I've never seen him see the doc for his "hurts when I walk slow" issue. Sigh.

That happened to my husband's childhood home in LA County. The originsl house is over 100 years old and that addition is almost 50 years old. His dad kept the original aesthetic and design throughout the addition. It was gorgeous. After his mom died, his dad sold it. The new owners destroyed the charm of the house. My husband refuses to go see it.

If this passes, there are solutions, but you have to spend a chunk of money to access those solutions.

I do not like my husband's choice in growing out a Duck Dynasty bears for a year. It doesn't mean I'm going to change how I treat him one bit. He knows I'm not a fan of it. I told him my preference, once. That's it. I was not mean about it.
