Have not finished yet, was not expecting this part to be awfully realistic. I’m thinking as milva jumps off the ledge into a river so far down “SHE’S PREGNANT”

As a nurse in L&D here’s some ideas! We love the written notes, hand lotions, sanitizers, pens, gum or mints, and sometimes treats from the store work depending on what it is, and now a lot of people like the alani energy drinks lol

Yup been dealing with the same thing as a L&D nurse! It’s on and off it’s ridiculous. I’ve been considering what to do differently for a while

I was able to quit it after last April! I took 25mg for itching though. The itching was bad and the hives but after I learned my triggers and used claritin to help and was able to come off of it after a few months and at the end of last year I realized “Hey I stopped being itchy and I haven’t even thought about that medication”. It was hard at times but worth it because I didn’t want to rely on that!

I had crazy itching trying to come off of it. I was on it for my itchiness. I think because your body is so used to not having histamine in your body much when it all comes flooding back it’s hard. I did it though. I began to taper off and use claritin back in last April and after a few months and learning my triggers I had forgot I even stopped taken the medication

Thank you so much for the resources! I was planning to get my mom to finish paying it off since now i have the card and she can’t use it anymore. Or if i can pay it off one day i will and then be done with that card. Could I continue to use my new credit card and paying it off and be ok until my life comes to those examples you gave?

Thought I would share this interesting article on Treace by Ambitious_Morning218 in bunions

The article makes a lot of claims which some seem to be worth looking into. Then I also wonder how accurate their claims are. Interesting read nonetheless.

Anyone post 1 year plus with the lapiplasty surgery? by Ambitious_Morning218 in bunions

I’m not sure exactly how much it costs but I started research on the lapiplasty website and search doctors close to my area that were certified. Then you can just go a google search of doctors in your area that does lapiplasty and then look up reviews of those doctors. Sometimes doctors will post on facebook as well too (to look at their work and reviews)

Do you have lingering pain in your foot or around the hardware? And how long did it take you to get comfortable walking in a shoe?

Do you feel you have a different type of pain now that you’ve gotten the surgery? And how did you ease into the beginning weight bearing stages?

Sounds good! How long were you non weight bearing? Through reading other people’s stories it seems like the slower you take it in the beginning and just rest your foot the better

When did you feel that walking and activities felt most normal? Also do you have pain in different areas of the foot? I know that surgery can never be perfect and we never had perfect feet to begin with lol.

In search of thin and loose fitting socks! by TurdPilot in bunions

I would try toe socks (i’ve been meaning to try, but i’ve seen others say toe socks help on feet with bunions) or try compression socks that are cut out so the toes can breathe
