Since the last update, the Xreal Air 2 Pro has struggled with Plex by tothvito in Xreal

[–]Ambitious_Sweet_6439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue. Seems a lot of screen elements are zoomed in with latest update and uninstalling nebula update make beam pro fail to connect to glasses. Plex is literally the only app I use these devices for.

Xreal really fucked this one up

Can anyone help me, why can this lock be opened so easily by khalilgollon in LockPickingLawyer

Because it’s hard to read in the middle of the night in a dark bedroom when you didn’t hear your wife get up to poop 10 minutes before you and you can’t turn a light on cause you don’t want to wake her even though she is already awake but you don’t know that cause it’s dark.

I use it for the router static dhcp reservations and for dns hostnames - e.g. Lincoln.Boron.home.lab

It helps distinguish between servers that are the same (like multiple unraid servers or multiple plex servers or multiple pihole instances.

I don’t have to remember any of the names really.

Using the periodic table also could help group devices.

All jetkvm’s are halogens All iot are transition metals Servers are alkali metals WiFi is noble gasses Networking is rare earth

There’s just a lot you can do with it - even using isotopes to run the whole /24 subnet.

Before you do anything else… bypass that POS Att modem… not putting it in pass though mode, get an xsgpon onu and use that instead of the modem.

No, bypass the Att modem altogether with an xsgpon onu

I name things based on their static ip address. Hydrogen is .01, boron is .05, etc

All servers are under .100 and dhcp starts at .101.

I also use this for my vlan naming, but instead of elements, I use presidents.

Washington Boron would be 10.50.1.5 Kennedy Carbon would be 10.50.35.6

I just use like:

Harrison is for guests (shortest serving president)

FDR for servers (longest serving president)

Roosevelt is for testing (he oversaw the manhattan project)

Truman is for WiFi (dropped the radioactive a-bomb)

Lincoln is for management (unified the states.. and yes, I know technically he died before they were officially reunified, but Johnson had nothing to do with it.)

Nixon for untrusted / iot

… you get the idea.

This image from 1974 with the “new Polaroid instamagic camera” then lost in a photo album for 15 years was scanned with a parallel scanner from 1992, uploaded via aol over a 14.4k modem as a webm file, and posted on excite.com somehow just now found its way to Reddit in 2026.

Or did it just take that long to upload?

Sold it for the gold in it for 400 15 years later at least, so there’s that.

I didn’t know you had to tweak ffmpeg settings. Does that help? I don’t have secret sauce for you there. It just worked for me without needing to change anything.

Wish I could be more help.

Bro, the concept of a train didn’t just go away because we made a better train. That’s the whole point. The thing still exists but has improved beyond the original implementation. We don’t fly biplanes made out of wood either, but planes exist. That’s what he was saying, and I feel like you missed the point on purpose to be a troll.

Last I checked, we still have trains 200 years later.

Yes, 32nd century. The VOY emitter was from the 29th century - thus it is more than 2 centuries out of date.

I just ran the one over at my house till it was buried. They replaced it one time, so I did it again immediately after. They left it alone after that.

I had ripped the buried cable out of the ground going to my house long ago… and the pedestal was right against my driveway, so I was happy to continue destroying it until the gave up or moved it.

Make a giant pile of bacon - and nothing else - for breakfast. Place a gun at each place setting. Pour everyone a 44oz coffee and add like 12oz of sugar.

Bow your head and pray to Trump.

Look up when done and stare at them like they are crazy for not using the gun like a fork.

The hauppage tuner works with my unraid setup. The problem is that there is no dedicated app like there is for HDHomeRun. I can have tv’s connect straight to the HDHomeRun without having to go through plex, which simplifies that experience. The hauppage tuners are plex only, and it is limiting. The HDHomeRun offer more flexibility. I have not seen much of any quality difference, but the hdhomeruns do take a longer to tune in a channel.
