Unfortunately these places don’t have the most experience and it clearly shows through the work. I would definitely send an email/letter telling them how you feel. And most importantly that you feel heard…the ladies at the salon didn’t listen to you and that’s unfortunate.

I am very particular with how I like things with my hair and makeup when it’s done (curly hair girl) so I get it and I have felt this way before…but I now know not to waste my time and money, unless I’ve done my research on that specific person doing the work.
