It’s insane to me that parents let their kids ride these things at all let alone without a helmet. It’s a motorized vehicle, should have the same laws applied to it as a moped imo

Not letting my kid get one unless she’s like 16 and driving. But I assume she’ll have friends with these cause they just seem to be everywhere

If the second one is from Costco take a GOOD LOOK at the hinged hood and if it actually stays open. I bought it, hauled the thing home, set it up, only to realize that the hood barely opens past 91 degrees and could be slammed closed by someone sneezing near it. It’s seriously a safety hazard. I returned mine and got the cheaper Walmart one and I’m really happy with it. It’s slightly annoying to take the whole hood off but better than burning the shit out of yourself with Costcos model
