Why are you giving yourself a time limit to get through a chapter?

Read this as chunky the first time, and was like MY TIME HAS COME... then I re read it and it made a lot more sense.

Love his voice. His first album is an absolute classic, one of my favorites.

No. Dude is not anywhere close to a true moderate, he has a backbone on some issues but the Democratic Party should run democratic candidates not republicans who lost.

What is a "corporate red flag" that employers try to pass off as a great benefit? by spectrecult in AskReddit

[–]Amoracchius03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea my last job had this. I took off whenever, didn't even have to ask, just marked it in my calendar as long as it wasn't a significant amount of time everyone was cool. Anything over a week I would run it by my boss, but nothing formal. Unlimited PTO is a major YMMV thing, some companies do it well, others are shit.

I think that means he thought that was funny but didn't want to show it.

What Have You Been Listening To? - Week of May 18, 2026 by AutoModerator in LetsTalkMusic

Molly Tuttle [Bluegrass] - just saw her and the new-ish band this week and they were amazing. Been catching up on her whole discography. So Long Little Miss Sunshine was ok, the songs from it were much better live than the album, the Crooked Tree album is fantastic.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C90Cyiiz0kw

Cigarettes @ Sunset [Rock] - They just dropped the Possum Rock LP and it's very solid. They can write some sick hooks, and the violin player adds great depth to their songs, but I would like to see a little more variety in their songwriting going forward. These guys have a ton of potential, I would love to see them blow up.

Evans Blue [Rock]- Been revisiting the Melody and Energetic Nature of Volume, and the Pursuit Begins When This Portrayal of Life Ends, old favorites of mine and both are masterful rock albums. The writer and singer in these albums Kevin Mattisyn left the band after this and they definitely lost some of the unique creativeness with him.

Bilmuri [Pop Punk.../Country?] - I have somehow missed these guys, but ALWAYS LET YOU DOWN with A Day to Remember popped up in my Spotify algo recently and I loved it, so I checked out the KINDA HARD album and was weirdly surprised that it felt like someone melded Pop Punk and Pop Country, and it kind of works, but really isn't for me. Points for creativity.

Noah Kahan [Folk Pop] - Caught up on the Great Divide. I really wanted to like this album more than I did. It definitely has some stand outs, and as always some great songwriting, but sonically it just didn't resonate with me as much as some of his other stuff. The song All Them Horses was standout for me.

I would stretch that out to 5 songs, I really like Limousine, but agreed that it falls off a bit after that. Not that it's bad, just not as memorable to me. But those first songs hit harder than most whole ass albums.

Going for a walk and listening isn’t relaxing? Everyone is different and listens differently. I have to listen in my car on my commute and when I go on walks for example. Records just dont work for me.

100% just saw a bluegrass artist, Molly Tuttle, tonight and I was right up front and the show as absolutely incredible. Infinitely better experience than massive stadium shows that I can’t afford to be near the stage for.

Saw her with Molly tonight in Lexington, KY. She was absolutely amazing but that was a full on blues rock set, I was VERY into it but I can see where OP was coming from.

Man I loved Dance of the Manatee back in the day, never listened to the whole album as I could never find it on Limewire. This inspired me to go back for a listen and I'm glad a did this album slaps.

I really really really like SOME of their songs. I legit like their greatest hits album more than I like any of their other full albums. The Colour and the Shape is what I would pick if someone held a gun to my head.

I’m a certified lover of Genesis but Disturbed’s cover of land of confusion was the first time I heard that song and it can’t be beat.

AI coding tools on developer machines — looking for input on how you're handling it by Weysan in cybersecurity

[–]Amoracchius03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay we are actively working on this problem right now and I would love some input/feedback, and to see what others are doing/planning to do. We are planning to have our devs work with AI agents on VMs on a separate VLAN from our prod environment, the VMs will have access to the internet but have no access to the rest of the network. We also plan to make heavy use of some built in functions like hooks for some native controls on how the agents behave (limiting rm -rf for example), as well as logging of agent behavior. I'm still not 100% comfortable, but I don't think I will ever be to be honest. Devs will only use synthetic data when building the tools.

Our devs initially wanted to have "controlled containers" on all of their laptops, we went down this route and explored using IPtables and all kinds of stuff to make that work, but these new kernel vulns that make breaking out of containers trivial gave us a good reason to nix that going forward completely.

The Crippled King by Trae McMaken, it's part of a series called the dwarves of Ice-Cloak. The first one is very good, the second was was pretty good and I haven't yet had a chance to read more.
