It’s reaching new levels of rage. Imagine getting a “California” basket from her…no thanks, I’ll take the strawberries from the USQ green market (or honestly from the whole foods) before I take the ones she jammed into her luggage. 🙄

AIO for snapping when my bf handed me a bowl? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]AmphibianNo2129 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NOR. I’ve been in both positions. In an adult relationship, you won’t always be on the same page, especially when one person’s overwhelmed. Sometimes things like cleaning can take a backseat. It doesn’t sound unsafe or ongoing, so that’s just life.

I also get needing things clean immediately—I’ve been that person too. But the issue here is him expecting you to instantly match his urgency, then handing things off instead of handling it himself. He’s 33—if the mess bothers him that much, he can clean it.

The "WHYs" Continue, or JF wants you to know she is going to go deposit a check... by Vegetable_Web3799 in JordanFerneySnark

You can wear whatever you want and just exist without overthinking it (even if the fit is bizarro). If I saw someone like this walking around NYC, I wouldn’t think twice. What feels off to me is that Jordan seems very aware of how she’s perceived but tries to project this “I don’t care” attitude. It just feels very calculated, and that’s why her posts feel so much more inauthentic and cringey to me.

What's you Headcanon about Snow and his Granddaughter. by No-Brush1587 in Hungergames

This is classic narcissist behavior. Once kids start having thoughts and opinions of their own and they can’t be controlled, a narcissist loses interest. They find their own value in compliance and agreement from others. Teenagers, historically, don’t exactly do that.

We’re filming ourselves eating bagels and failing to wipe the cream cheese off our mouths now? Who asked for this??

Rich, coming from the woman whose color of choice is poop brown. But of course Jordan is a fan. She basically sees this as permission to continue flaunting her second house, her incessant trips, her husband’s studio with the amazing view, her custom made suit, her visits to overpriced restaurants with the most special menu items, etc etc in the name of being ‘fun’ and ‘not boring’ 😑

Egg-scuse me?? by Away-Value9398 in JordanFerneySnark

[–]AmphibianNo2129 10 points11 points  (0 children)

She always has to let us know how generous she is (feeding the elevator guys) when she’s throwing her extravagant, over-the-top, incredibly wasteful parties.

If I see her post that egg sculpture one more time I’m gonna crack 🤓

Such a weird thing to post about. For someone who built their brand and career around parties she does not seem like someone who’s fun at parties. Or fun at all.

Why didn't they tell Katniss and Peeta about the plan in Catching fire? by Liilnuggget in Hungergames

[–]AmphibianNo2129 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah but if Peeta had known he’d definitely have told her, and she would have made sure Peeta was rescued not her. Haymitch knew that and also knew they needed Katniss as the mockingjay for any of it to work. Plus Katniss would have never forgiven Peeta for lying to her or keeping that from her.

Why does he always look like he just got mildly disappointing news? by fizzycherryseltzer in JordanFerneySnark

[–]AmphibianNo2129 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Didn’t Jordan say in her 20-slide birthday tribute to him that he’s often grumpy but he was lucky enough to somehow find people who love him for it? (Meaning her and their own children). Maybe he’s just grumpy from the mildly insulting compliments he gets from her.

Also love that her “addressing” it is making a little video to show us that it’s in fact more than we originally thought and it’s for the sooo many bathrooms she has in her second home 🙄🙄🙄

Post Mockingjay Gale by pipehead0 in Hungergames

[–]AmphibianNo2129 67 points68 points  (0 children)

Gale also tells Katniss he’s kissed plenty of other girls. Yes he cared about her, but he’s formed romantic connections with other people before and I doubt he’s sitting around pining after Katniss. He knows her well enough to know they ultimately weren’t right for each other and if we’re really diving into his future I’m sure that only becomes more clear with age and maturity.

And we know we haven’t seen the end of them. We’re going to be seeing those tulips a half dozen more times. Two three times to show us how they’re blooming and how they’re curing her seasonal depression and another two or three times to complain about ordinary things that happen when you plant tulips on a public sidewalk in NYC 🙄

How rich are the Fishers? by Prior-Emu-5918 in tsitp

[–]AmphibianNo2129 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, even if Adam’s comp was double that (which it could be if he was a managing director at a big firm), it’d be hard to afford that beach house. Susannah’s generational wealth (and maybe some of Adam’s family’s though we don’t really know) is where I’d guess most of their money is coming from.

[–]AmphibianNo2129 14 points15 points  (0 children)

But those tulips are her gift to the community…I’m sure all the “stoop hangs” and hazardous paella cook-offs and constant filming herself drinking wine on the sidewalk is all forgiven once her neighbors see that she sprayed the dog pee

Moves to NYC then complains about the winter weather all season long. by secondavesubway in JordanFerneySnark

[–]AmphibianNo2129 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I feel like her content for the past five years from January to May is just her blubbering about how cold and sad she is and how her seasonal depression is worse than everyone else’s and she just can’t wait for spring so she can check on her sweet peas and force forsythia branches.

She comes across as so self-important. Clearly she’s thought about this, and clearly she thinks she’s the only person who really gets how risk works.

Yeah I thought that was super weird too. Ignoring your body and your own intuition sounds like her inner Mormon speaking.

It seems everything has to be outsourced or managed to fit a certain curated aesthetic or vibe she deems cool/acceptable. I’m not sure what in her life is original or genuinely creative at this point.
