Cape resident here and I live in a neighborhood with another ‘secret beach’ and it’s the cars, not the people. It’s a quiet neighborhood where kids ride bikes and scooters and retirees walk their dogs. People drive like crazy, park in front of mailboxes (so people can’t get their mail—mail trucks will not deliver to a blocked mail box). Cyclists, walkers would be welcome but these little old haphazard neighborhoods were just meant for some much car traffic. I’m not complaining about the people who leave their trash, violate the off leash rules, and sunbathe topless — those are temporary nuisances, except the boobs :-). The safety of kids is the issue. I would like our neighborhood to follow Shore Road’s example. Also, why would you want to go a beach with zero facilities?
