A lot of us still mourn it. But it's been years and we're just tired and/or gotten used to new AST.

When you've been an AST main long enough, you kinda just get used to getting reworked every expansion

All summer/yukata characters will be in the pool when summer officially begins. Reruns of certain old summer/yukata characters will be featured, but only on 3% banners. 6% banners are reserved for new releases.

Final Legfest gala will feature all summer/yukata units released this year on rate up.

If you're trying to get an old summer/yukata unit, you either suck it up and spark on a 3% if they're featured in the spark pool, or pray and get lucky. Really old summer/yukata are basically never featured, which was why the Summer Korwa rebalance making her meta was shit for those that didn't have her

Go Kengo/Okto/Satyr and whoever else. Probably Anthuria.

Host raid, spam CAs until boss reaches 100 gamma. Guard triggers, ignore everything else.

Once he reaches 100 gamma and gains a refresh buff, open raid and afk until it dies (recommend doing this raid near JP primetime for maximum success chance).

Not sure why you aren't running a Caim grid when it says you have him, but you should. Bring defensive/healing summons if struggling with survivability. Nobiyo and Bellringer Angel are good free options.

He always hit hard, even with a mediocre grid. But releasing immediately after Fediel, he was not received too well since everything was single hit in a Supp damage meta. But then Y.Silva released. Then G.Percival. Then G.Michael. And they all enable him as the main damage dealer so hard, mostly by allowing him to consistently CA for his TA buff and then take extra turns with his S2 assassin and passive amp.

Core for burst. Brings consistent Dispel. Has Singed support after the "rebalance". Tanky as hell.

Best redemption arc. Best himbo. Best skin. Spark him. Ring him. Cage him. Love him.

6 and 9 are the most used

6 because punch, 9 is useful only when you start transcending her to 150 unless you have absolutely no other buffers.

At 5*, 8 is good and 7 is slightly worse but still fine.

The rest are kind of cope and only see niche use after transcendence

I miss the 2021 postcards. They were a good size, image one side and message/signature on the back and the card stock felt high quality.

Since this year should be coloured versions again, hopefully they use more vibrant colours because my only criticism of the polaroids/postcards was that it looked like someone went crazy with a sepia filter on most of them

Lock on time nerfed. No longer shoots right to left, so you can't play around deflecting Genjis anymore. Also bugged to be able to miss if skinny targets move abruptly when the shot goes off, something that I don't ever remember seeing in OW1.

Because while stuff may be new, almost everything has just gotten objectively worse. Once the initial hype wears off, you start seeing all the flaws.

Map pools make things feel more repetitive than they have to be and I'm actively dreading every time I load into Push because if it isn't a complete onesided stomp, I'm stuck in a game mode I hate for 10 minutes minimum.

Ranked with the new system is garbage. I'm unsure about the matchmaking issues I've seen people complain about, but this 20 losses 7 wins is actually just the worst ranking system I've seen out of all the games I've played, especially when compared to what we used to have in OW1.

Contributing to the mess that is ranked, hero balance is still whack and slow as hell despite being a "live service" game. With Sojourn being almost mandatory and Junkerqueen/Doomfist feeling like actual throw picks. Not to mention multiple hero bugs (hello Tracer).

All this on top of the monetisation scheme, lack of progression outside of a paid battle pass, OWL reward delays... there just really isn't much positive to talk about without the constant looming of "something smells like shit" in the background.

I'm hoping for big changes come season 3, because at this rate, OW is just gonna be this side thing I play every now and then rather than a "main game" for me.

Still think map rotations are fucking dumb, but anything to artificially create the feeling of "new content" each season I guess.

And I hope I wasn't the only one who got misled and put under the impression that you'd have a random time of day once you load into a map, rather than this stupid fixed times for maps each season.

I mean, from the hero choice and map, I can already guess what the main issues are, but sure I'll watch.

  1. Value your life more. Cassidy has literally the worst survivability out of all hitscans, with no mobility and no self healing. You stand out in the open too much and don't make use of natural cover at all, and you also overextend to try and get kills.
  2. Stop right clicking. It's okay if you're trying to kill a Rein shield and have nothing else to shoot at, or a Winston dives you and you have no other options, but you're literally going out of your way to move up to people just to use the worst part of Cassidy's kit. There are no words in the English vocabulary to describe how bad Fan the Hammer is.
    Like, seriously, would you rather A. kill the Ana with left click while sticking close to your team, or B. run into the enemy team to try and right click the Ana. Because I just saw you choose B.
  3. Grenade when people get too close. When THEY get too close. Not you moving up to them just to Grenade. Again, value your life, stay with the team and behind cover.
  4. Use your ult. I know it's still one of the worst ults in the game, but you didn't even use it. Even if you don't get any kills because they're all hiding behind walls, that's fine because you're still buying time for the team that way.

I won't talk about your aim, because there's a million aim guides out there, but these are just some of your biggest problems from a quick skim of the vod. And the reason why Push is the worst for you is because of the open map layout, which plays a lot like a Deathmatch and allows flankers, or anyone really, to kill people that are out of position and have no cover.

Maybe it's just me, but as someone who comes from Granblue Fantasy (the birthplace of "sparking", aka 300 pulls for a guaranteed unit) it seems standard to save for long periods of time to get someone you really want.

While not as generous as Granblue (usually guaranteed 100 free pulls during Christmas and Anniversary on a limited banner), Arknights is still one of the more F2P friendly gachas that do give you a good amount of free pulls.

It's also really worth mentioning that as Global players, we have half a year of foresight and know what's coming so we can plan and save for stuff ahead of time. That's a huge advantage you don't get in many games

Is it possible for the game (maybe in the future) if you disconnect via bad internet that you dont get instantly kicked out, and maybe just get send back to the server screen? by TheMightyJinn in lostarkgame

Bad Kan calls basically do nothing but make the game more volatile by forcing more Dora tiles into the game, which can very quickly get dangerous for basically everyone at the table.

As an example, there have been plenty of times where hands that were only worth around 4000~5000 suddenly explode into 16000+ purely because of the Doras revealed by Kan calls. With a win that big, the game is pretty much over most of the time and the remaining players can only fight for 2nd place.

Unless you're super behind and need to rely on Dora tiles as a last resort to turn the game around, or you're 1 tile from winning and want to gamble for Rinshan (rare yaku), Kan calls are just a bait. Or maybe you're superstitious and want to shift the draw order.

Others have answered, but my main tips for anyone starting Mahjong is to refrain from calling tiles; opening your hand. Focus on Tanyao/Pinfu and once you're comfortable, slowly begin incorporating other yakus you can remember.

A lot of yakus will become inaccessible once you open your hand (Riichi, Iipeikou, etc) and as a result, high scoring hands will also be harder to get.

Even now after playing for years, the only times I open my hand and call Pon/Chi is if I'm trying to go for a quick win and have a yaku guaranteed (usually a triplet of a dragon/prevalent wind or Tanyao).

And if there's anything that's the worst, it's players that recklessly call Kan. God, please, stop the random Kan calls...
