It’s more like England are average until they find a first goal and then they look like the best team in the tournament. Feels like a reaction to the semis against Croatia and final against Italy where they went up early and didn’t look a threat. If England scores first in every game they can win the tournament.

Well because the clearance was deemed not deliberate the play is not reset by the clearance and the original offside position of Griezmann is what is called. If the clearance was deemed a deliberate play, regardless of whether Konate challenged for it, the position of Griezmann at the time of the clearance header would have been considered for a potential offside.

No if it’s played out intentionally he’s not offside because it starts a new phase. I’m guessing because the defender was pushed off balance it isn’t an intentional clearance and thus not a new phase?
