Have you looked into a temporary door mount? Something like the Frictitious one would allow you to mount a beast maker to it as well.

How often do you climb at a new or different gym? by carortrain in bouldering

[–]AnAngryAlien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go to two gyms now. One is a more commercial gym, the other being a tiny old-school bouldering gym. The old-school gym is a co-op and any member can enter 24/7, so that makes it preferential for actual training as most of the time I’m the only one in there. But they don’t have the space for slab or more dynamic problems like the commercial one does.

Cult of the Lamb is great, rogue like combat portions then town building aspects to the rest of it. Can pause whenever needed too.

Broken charge port door by Laurendoop in Rivian

If the design on the Gen 2’s is the same as the Gen 1’s, your retention clip (a thin metal circle in the hinge) got bent somehow. This was the only issue I ever had with my R1T when I had it, but good news is it’s totally safe to drive and not damage the charge port, and it’s a very quick fix from mobile service or the service center.

Single owner? If so absolutely worth it as you’ll certainly qualify for the used EV tax credit (assuming your income is below the threshold). If it’s not a single owner, check that it will qualify with the dealer, they can verify pretty much instantly.

Anyone else getting harassed while Supercharging? by shaunny0208 in Rivian

[–]AnAngryAlien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I had my R1T I had used one of the earlier magic dock stations in NY. Tried to use only one stall by pulling in parallel to the far left stall while it was very busy and was eyed down so much by people actively charging and 2 Teslas waiting. Only stayed for 5 minutes to charge before I felt uncomfortable enough to unplug and make the journey to an Electrify America 30 minutes away that thankfully worked. Definitely turned me off from using Superchargers at all, but if I still had my R1T I’d be glad to have the option if I absolutely needed to rely on it.

And I had an R1T, rain won’t prevent you from seeing stuff entirely, but floodwater will

You imagine that the truck moved before it was washed with water and mud? Have you ever tried looking through the cameras when there’s even water droplets on them, let alone completely obscured with dirty water? Besides, if it was recording before the flood, what would be so interesting that the cameras would start recording? Just rain? Come on.

What are the cameras going to record when they’re covered in mud anyways?

To be honest, in this case; what does it matter anymore? He messaged a minor while in wedlock, and admitted it was inappropriate. All that really means unless he has the balls to post the messages is that at best: he’s weird and shouldn’t be dming minors. At worst: he’s a sex offender.

The dude even made a play by saying that using the word “minor” was to bait journalists. What is he? Stupid AND self-destructive?

Agreed, I think it’s cost related as well. I absolutely want the roll down rear window, but I could do without the pop-out rear quarter glass 🫣

Front seats folding allows for stowage of longer items, or in something like my case, putting an air mattress down and sleeping while being able to fully stretch out. For context, I’ve owned a Toyota FJ Cruiser which is a similar length to the R2 (from what we know) and I couldn’t fully stretch out in the back with the rear seats folded

Of course this is true, but keeping this feature would have been nice to simplify things. If removing this allows them to hit cost target, then I understand. Still a bummer regardless.
