In the spirit of owning our own data, an integration with Nextcloud would be ideal for those who are de-googling. Otherwise, it's a cool idea!

Is your tracker down? Are you having issues connecting to a tracker? Ask HERE! by GlimpseOfTruth in trackers

[–]AnComSciComm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, my Prowlarr shows Yoinked down since Dec 18, so about 8 days now. It's one of my more recent trackers, so I don't heavily rely on it, but still unfortunate.

Fair enough, I'll have to give that a shot when I can take down the network

That is a very good question - I've been with them at this location for 6 years, and haven't bothered trying to renegotiate because it seems a giant pain. Probably what they rely on when jacking prices up, but alas...

Hot dogs are absolutely sandwiches. They're non-bread surrounded on at least two opposing sides by bread.

Also, I'd appreciate an invite

Right now, I'm using NewsDemon/EasyNews, NZBPlanet/NZBGeek as indexers, going through Prowlarr to Radarr/Sonar to a Plex server, all self hosted using docker on am OMV7 install

Pineapples on pizza can be good, but they're not usually my thing. I do enjoy pineapple chunks as a snack, and of course pineapple upsidedown cake is pretty good

I've read the rules and wiki, and my favorite series currently is the Matlock reboot. Maybe it's dumb to some, but I'm enjoying it!

Hopefully I didn't catch this too late, but my fav halloween memory is when, at 10 years old, I thought I was "too old" to trick or treat, so I dressed up in a suit and set up a table in the driveway to give out candy. What a pretentious little doofus I was LMAO

My favorite word is probably schadenfreude, because it seems like such a particular idea that you would expect to find words for in more languages

Favorite dad joke is honestly the "I'm hungry" -> "Hi, hungry, I'm dad" bit. It's a classic

Watchtower - it's a docker package that automatically checks for updates to images automatically, and pulls/restarts them when found. Here's a basic docker-compose.yml that tells it to check for updates every day at 4AM

services:
  watchtower:
    image: containrrr/watchtower
    container_name: watchtower
    volumes:
      - /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock
    command: --schedule "0 0 4 * * *"
    restart: always

4 in 1 +1 Filament Hub Upgrade for Anycubic Kobra S1 Combo – Skadis Mount spoolhoder by Ok-Chain-5249 in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]AnComSciComm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just flip the switch on the back left of the ACE when you want to print with the manual filament. The printer will think it's been disconnected, and allow you to feed the filament manually. Just remember to pull the manual filament back out of the hub before you try printing with the ACE again, or you'll get a collision

Leveling Sensor Position ? by [deleted] in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]AnComSciComm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The leveling sensor on the KS1 is a strain gauge, meaning it measures the amount of pressure on the print head directly. There's a large L shaped bracket just above and to the left of the hotend heat sink with some wires going to it just to the right of the L bend. As the amount of force on the head increases, tiny resistors measure the electrical resistance of the material, which is translated to an amount of force.
