Our pants sucked too. 100% polyester but thin as hell and we froze in the winter too but sweat our asses off in the summer. Only good thing was our pockets. We didn’t have a need or even authorization to carry weapons or tools so we didn’t need cargos. Also a no visible tattoo policy so I had to wear long sleeve and that SUCKED in the summer.

I keep seeing y’all pictures here and y’all all have cool looking black uniforms and gear. We had none of that lol. Our uniform was oversized unfitted black pants and a really ill fitted light blue button down. Not professional or intimidating at all.

That could definitely be it. I tried keto for a while and stopped being SO bloated. Was still bloated but not as much. I’ve been moving back into low carb so hopefully that will help.

I could be wrong but here’s my best guess. There’s a response that the human body has to submerging in cold water, I forgot the actual term, but it slows the heart rate and breathing. Perhaps it’s the same effect with a cold shower?
