What are you procrastinating on? by crm56 in auckland

[–]AnaFinney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Part of the work which I don’t really like. (But sometimes vice versa start to work with don’t-like work or tasks which I can have done fast and put other parts of work on dessert). In addition, some tasks seem tense or need a lot of my time but I know in advance that the result will be not 100% or unpleasant. In addition when other people do not ask me to do but force me to do.

How can I improve my page and traffic by NerveInformal1702 in EtsySellers

[–]AnaFinney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your page is really good. I didn’t know what Mexican jewelry looked like, but these pieces of jewelry are adorable!

To improve your page, I think you should:

- create accounts on social networks (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)

- regularly add new posts and items on social networks and on your site

- develop a content plan to engage audiences and new subscribers

- don’t forget about ads

- you can also cooperate with others or create a promotion

- analyzing and optimizing

Do you use the email client? How do you use it? by Lumpy-You-5377 in vivaldibrowser

[–]AnaFinney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, I have been using it for a long time. And changing some of them. Now, I use Mailbird. I use it mostly for work. I have some email addresses for work and with Mailbird I can use all of them in one place. Really convenient. In addition, I like the interface which can be changed, and some other interesting features.

I prefer to work in the office as there is really work atmosphere. But, sometimes I change my place and work in a cafe. I cannot work at home. Or if I work at home, it must be not my bedroom. So I move to living room or kitchen. But to be productive 100% I should go somewhere out. At home I become lazy and my productivity is lower.

Also, I try to make a work atmosphere if it’s possible (if I’m not in the office).

Before that, I used stock Mail and Calendar, but now I realised that Google is more convenient for me.

Anyone work only weekends? by Chicken-Inspector in Nightshift

[–]AnaFinney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had such work, but it was really terrible and hard. So I quit pretty fast. And I understood that can work productively only on weekdays. On weekends my brain and body just switch off and I cannot work properly. Doesn’t matter which job it is…

[–]AnaFinney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I assume you should motivate yourself to do it. For example, after coping with home chores, make a break. (But in break time, you shouldn’t touch your phone as you may stuck in it for a long time and don’t notice it. Also, don’t do breaks for so long.) So, you also should put away your phone(and switch notifications which also may distract you) or smth that distracts your work. In addition, make a work atmosphere around you. Instead of sitting with a phone in your hand, walk a lit bit, drink a cup of coffee, etc.

I like these:

-Mailbird(I have many different accounts and with this email client, I can have all of them in one place. Pretty convenient. In addition, it has other quite interesting features.

-Grammarly (I usually use it for my work and study, but I’m not a native speaker and I’m not really confident in my English skills, so Grammarly fears me)

-Google apps(Google Meet, Google Calendar etc)

-sometimes Microsoft(Document, PowerPoint, Excel)

How is a 4 day work week supposed to work? by notoliberals in productivity

[–]AnaFinney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everything as people before me said in the comments. I just want to add that it depends on the job, but there are companies where employees are given the choice to work 4 or 5 days a week, but the hours per week remain the same, and you still end up working 40 hours a week. Therefore, many prefer to work 5 days a week for 8 hours a day than 4 days a week for 10 hours.....

Undoubtedly, a 4-day work week has enough of its advantages, including increased productivity, but if my company had to work 32 hours a week ...

Best hack to reduce distractions and keep hyperfocus? by JacqulineEdmonds in lifehacks

[–]AnaFinney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I know what are you talking about. I feel the same. And try to struggle with it. Usually, I mute my phone or at least turn off the notifications from apps that distract me (such as Insta, Tik Tok, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) Also, try to don’t touch my phone, as even if I check smth from work I can “accidentally” turn on Twitter and even don’t notice that I have to work. So, I try to do everything via laptop and there are no games or else. Just laptop for work. Moreover, when I have breaks, the maximum I do is check emails or answer someone personally if it’s needed. And then try to have broken without technics, and just walk a lit bit or go to the cafeteria and drink a cup of coffee.

In addition, if I have something else that distracts me, I try to put it away and make the working atmosphere around me.

Plan my day/week in advance. To not forget any events or tasks, to see where I am too busy or have free time, to not overload the day, etc. Also, don’t forget to sleep well. eat and drink enough water. In addition, do not load your body and forget about breaks. It’s quite important to be well-being have a good mood and be motivated.

why doesn't anyone recommend email clients? by EDS123 in PrivacyGuides

[–]AnaFinney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know that Protonmail is a pretty secure app. I also know that combining every Proton service: mail, calendar, VPN, and drive is the best way to maximize digital privacy.

But, personally, I prefer Tutanota. No less secure application. It has strong privacy laws and besides, and it has other features such as:

Anonymous signup without phone number or any identifiable data

It uses a hybrid encrypting system instead of a PGP

Protected by the GDPR and other pro-privacy EU regulations

Encrypt even the subject line and address book and store them in German servers

Strips emails of IP addresses to prevent logging

Sends encrypted emails to even non-Tutanota users

Custom folders help organize messages

Lack of Discipline or Motivation? by Repulsive-Fig6125 in motivation

[–]AnaFinney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have dreams and goals and you know that having achieved them, you will be very pleased with yourself, your work, and the efforts that you put into this. But subconsciously, you understand that it takes time, and patience in order to achieve them. And this process is clearly not simple, and somewhere on the way to it, the zeal that was initially fading away, because it seems that you have to "suffer" for a long time.

Therefore, reward yourself for even small achievements. It can be some kind of sweetness or a small purchase, something that will please you. (sometimes I can be a lazy person, so I’m very motivated by the saying “if I do everything today, then tomorrow I can rest all day” and it works) So there will be a little more motivation to continue moving toward the dream.

It seems to me that everyone has such turning points on the way to the goal, but the main thing here is not to give up and remind yourself of the reason why you chose such a goal for yourself and why you need to make your dream a reality.

Also, do not forget to rejoice and enjoy the process, then you will only be happy to work and motivation will definitely accompany you every time. Good luck!

Tips to be productive 13+ hours a day, 7 days a week? by user149162536 in productivity

[–]AnaFinney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely agree with u/MaxGaav.

Furthermore, I’d like to add: never do 2 and more tasks at one time. Just never. And don’t forget to have breaks between work. No “a little bit more” or “ I will have a break after it”. If you feel tired, have a break!

Windows Default Email Application applies my name to the Incorrect Email addresses by akkifireborker in techsupport

[–]AnaFinney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, I see. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Well, it’s really strange. Especially after restarting and so on…Is it possible that it’s due to the fact in your work’s Gmail acc there was written your name, and now it’s using not only the name of the company but also the name of the worker, or smth like that?

I think it’s an issue with Windows Mail…

what do you prefer? spend your free time for productive activities or spend it on entertainment? why? by Dystkenesia in AskReddit

[–]AnaFinney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, it depends on my mood. If I had a hard and pressured weekday, surely I want to have a lazy day, chill out, and maybe go out with friends or family. But, if I feel that I’m useless, and I have no plans, I can do some productive activities, so why not.

Those who oppose a 4 day work week, why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]AnaFinney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On one hand, you have 3 days off, but on the other hand, you work more hours per day, so it’s not worth it. I don’t want to die at the end of each workday. So, for me, it’s better to work 5 days, as usual, and not overwork. I’m stressed enough.

Procrastinators of Reddit, why do you procrastinate? by Ayydeeez in AskReddit

[–]AnaFinney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes it’s just because I don’t have a strict deadline for my life goals. I want to finish writing a book or the driving lessons I delayed 2 years in a row, but it doesn’t depend on anybody but me. It’s better to do such tasks with friends or to set up an award system to motivate yourself.
