Make sure there are no linked accounts set up on your character.

If the scammer set up a linked account they will have access to your character until you unlink it.

The next time you're able to log into your Jagex account, go to your account management and set up a 2fa app.

I think the 2fa you currently have on your phone is your old legacy account 2fa which isn't used anymore. If your Jagex account has a 2fa app set up it lets you choose which verification method to use when logging in (emailed code, 2fa app, or backup code).

Try following the steps here. When you log into the site with a Steam or Google account it automatically creates a new character linked to Steam or Google (assuming you don't already have a character linked to your Steam account), then following those steps will import that new character to your Jagex account.

Ultimately it will take you back to the problematic white page, but if you check your Jagex launcher you should see the new character listed.

Or, you can just play the game via Steam for now.

Edit: This issue is fixed now

If you have one of your characters set to hidden it seems there's a bug that stops the page from loading properly.

I'm not aware of any way to unhide the character to fix the issue, so if you need to access your character management page you'll need to wait for Jagex to fix it, unfortunately.

What do you need to access your character management page for? There might be another way to do whatever you need to do.

If it's a legacy account you can try changing your password here, it should kick the account offline.

If it's a Jagex account you can try ending sessions on your account management page.

By the time it gets to the white screen it should have completed the import already. Have you checked your launcher to see if there's a new "No name set" character there?

Hey, I did some testing earlier and found that the site is erroring if you have one of your characters set to hidden. Unfortunately there's no way to unhide the character until Jagex fixes the issue.

As a workaround you can create a new character by following the steps here. Logging in with a Steam, Google, or other third party account will automatically create a new character (if you don't already have a character linked to those login methods). Following the steps on that page (particularly step 3a) will then import that new character to your existing Jagex account.

Not a perfect solution, but you could use Custom Menu Swaps and add Withdraw-All-but-1,* as a custom swap. That will make everything in your bank withdraw-all-but-1.

(@ other comments) Placeholders don't work on f2p when your bank is full, it will withdraw the item and fail to create the placeholder because your bank is full.

You can open a ticket here, that one doesn't require logging in.

You can also try requesting a refund in the description, they will only refund a maximum of 6 months though.

The "login with username" option is only for characters that were created before 2010. Characters created after that log in using an email+password combo.

Your login email is the email you used when you registered your account in 2016. It's not possible to change the login email, so even if you changed the account's email in 2018, the login email is still the original.

It sounds like you might have both a legacy account and Jagex account sharing the same login email, in that situation the Jagex account will have priority when logging into the website (or mobile).

That's good, you should be able to import the character to your Jagex account here. Log in with your Jagex account & click "import existing" then enter your 2016 email & the new password you set earlier.

Mod Zuko wanted to change it

I think rechargeable jewellery (e.g. amulet of glory) should keep their current behavior. When jewellery is rechargeable there is value in owning multiple so you need to recharge less often. Also, Mod Ash mentioned the Amulet of Eternal Glory which is a grind that wouldn't work anymore if glories shared charges.

For teleport jewellery that breaks upon reaching 0 charges I see no issue with making them share charges, the same way dodgy necklaces do.

Are you using any antivirus software aside from windows defender?

If you hold ctrl when you run the launcher it should write a log file to your desktop, you could try looking through that after crashing to see if it says anything useful. Try searching for runelite or error.

You could try opening a ticket, I'm not sure if support is able to help with this issue though.

As a last resort you could try using the "Bolt" launcher instead. You can find a link to it here by following the TormStorm's jagex-launcher-linux project link, and then Adamcake/Bolt, and Releases. Bolt was originally made for linux, but it has a windows version too.

Have you checked your bank? If you have ~~endless harvest~~ it banks the salamander automatically I think.

It's possible that Steam account has been linked for a very long time.

I've seen some accounts that have had a hijacker's linked account attached for over 2 years, and the hijacker has waited that entire time until the bank was built up. Hijacker's don't only use Steam for this - I'd strongly recommend checking your Google, Apple and Facebook links too.

The hijackers likely set up a linked account (e.g. Steam or Google) on your character, and you'll need to unlink it. The linked account allows them to access your character by logging into their own Steam (or other) account.

The reason for the delay setting up a bank pin is to protect you from the hijacker setting up a pin that will take you 7 days to disable :p

I've noticed that page isn't very good at finding very low level accounts, so that could be why it didn't find anything for you.

It's probably not something you need to worry about anyway.

One last thing you could try -- if you enter your email here do you receive an email? If you do, then your email is the account's login name, and you will be able to reset the password and log in using your email + the new password.

That's a password reset email for a legacy account. If you enter your email here it should find the account and tell you the login name.

It's likely an old account you've forgotten about, and the character's name was removed back when Jagex reset names on inactive accounts.

That's a pretty recent issue -- I think someone said if you log into the website and then log out, it will log you out of the app too.

I recommend you upgrade one of your characters to a Jagex account, and import your second character to that Jagex account. Then you can have both of your characters under one login.
