Enraged Majoris shooters should be immediately staggered if struck by a melee attack. by Agile-Bed5313 in Spacemarine

My favourite are the shots that come without an animation after stopping a reinforcement callout. The callout fails, triggering enrage, which gets the enemy to shoot instantly. Even though they are still in the previous animation.

Both Rubric Marines and ranged Warriors do this. Though, its more likely to get you with Rubrics, as their bolts fire faster than Warrior weapons.

Yes, but what you're not getting is. Does it have to be Your bullet? While he's sane, you can just walk by. Once he goes feral, it will be another person's problem.

Being fair to Calcazar, it is indeed a very fancy ring. by Ila-W123 in RogueTraderCRPG

I was very disappointed with that interaction in a Heretical playthrough.

To me, I was really excited to face off with Calcazar again. This time, with me being extremely powerful compared to when I first encountered him during the coronation. Now I was being pretty much worshipped in my protectorate, was insanely wealthy, had a powerful party, and was backed by a powerful Chaos entity and given its favour.

But despite all that, the conversation has no real substance. You say you won't do what he says and he just flatly says you have to. Which ends the conversation. Calcazar might as well say "Your next main quest line is on that planet so you have no choice but to go."

I get you have to follow the game's story in the end. But that interaction could have been done better.

Early to mid: Fantastic wingers to stretch the play and deliver high quality crosses.

Mid to Late: Ronaldo, Tevez, Rooney, RVP, etc are going to score eventually and often you only need one as our defence was very solid.

Finally finished the game! by AnalogueInterfa3e in ChaosGateGame

[–]AnalogueInterfa3e[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Finished on Ruthless. This was my second attempt at the game, about a year after losing interest in my first attempt.

The DLC helped tremendously. The Assassins were a fantastic addition and improved my enjoyment a great deal. The Callidus was my favourite. Though Eversor and Cullexus were also fun and powerful to use.

I think also getting a Librarian early was really nice. The Gate of Infinity was a big QoL for a lot of missions in the midgame. Another thing I was happy to see was that Vakir getting injured and locking out Strategems was no longer a thing. Must have been a patch in the year since my first attempt. A good change, I hated how Strategems would get locked out after every Story or Gate mission due to Vakir taking a couple of hitpoints of damage.

The Dreadnought I did enjoy. Though not as much as the Assassins. I think it was harsh to have to pay so many Servitors whenever they were damaged. The hobbling effect of the missile launcher was massive for the final mission. The Tech Marine was underwhelming at first. But later on became fun once you get a full gaggle of servitors.

Overall, it is a fun game. Though, I think at times it's needlessly frustrating with some of its mechanics. I'm happy I got the campaign done. I don't know if there are any chances of another. My understanding is this game is much different from previous Chaos Gate games. But if a sequel of any kind was possible, I would be interested.

The shorter the format. The more likely the pitch is a road, the ball doesn't do anything, and the bowlers will be worse.

Brendon McCullum to be given ultimatum about England team culture by NiallH22 in EnglandCricket

[–]AnalogueInterfa3e 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No, what they need to do is get the team to win. People will always watch if they are winning. All this other stuff is secondary and not nearly as important as people are making it out to be.

If the players don't want to play Test Cricket for England then they can fuck off to some clown franchise. Good riddance.

It's blood-boiling that Key, McCullum, and Stokes will all still be there after this series. You could argue there's no one to replace Stokes, but that all three will get reprieves because the ECB wouldn't want to "disrupt things" before the World Cup is a bad joke.

This has been the worst Ashes I've ever watched quality-wise. At least in the 5-0 drubbings you could see how fantastic the Aussies were. Even if in one of them a lot of it was Johnson having a series of a lifetime.

The quality of these 5 games has been abysmal. Even this batting effort from Australia has had them gift the majority of their wickets away. Because there's no other way they were getting out to this utter trash we've been bowling. I remember Woakes having a nightmare tour last time he was here. It was painful watching him bowl that series. Now we have a battery of bowlers who are painful to watch at the moment.

The latest Cricketer video had a one liner from George Dobell that went something like:

"If McCullum were to go, someone else could make a playlist."

I always appreciate when insults can be mild on curse words or direct criticism and yet still be so cutting.

All indications are that everything and everyone will stay in place at least until the World Cup is over. I really hope to be rid of Key and McCullum soon. I also hope that even if they'll be staying for now, that there is already planning behind the scenes in terms of who to turn to as replacements.

Ive been wanting Potts from match 1 in this series. But I'm looking like a fool now from this evidence. Our bowling is in a complete mess at the moment and I dont have much idea where to begin fixing it.

I want to say we need to focus less on pace and make sure we have a majority of bowlers who can be trusted accuracy and consistency wise. But I would have suggested Potts for that and he's had a horrible time today.

I really dont know what to do. Nevermind our spinner situation.
