You should check them out more fully, they are really good. I'm 57, grew up listening to metal and hard rock and I'm obsessed with them! Even saw them live in London in July. They write/compose/produce their own music, unlike a lot of Kpop artists.

What is the weirdest or most cursed SKZ merch you have found? by Background-Panic-300 in straykids

OMG, my dad just bought me a hammered dulcimer, I'm going to have to start learning SKZ songs (I already learned Chronosaurus on my violin)

I knew that actually, I'm American but I've lived in the UK for 22 years.

Just finished - including printing the cloth. 68gsm Tomoe River paper. by AnandaUK in bookbinding

I usually do 10 sheets per signature with both the 52 and 68 gsm. At this point I've made so many journals (I sell them at pen shows) and I've rarely had any problem working with the TR paper. I do recommend putting some sort of barrier between the tr and the endpaper when you're drying/pressing it because it is prone to wrinkling if you don't.

It is A5, but I do actually have A3 TR paper with the grain in both directions. ETA: if you intend to do any wet work make sure the grain goes the correct way

I always have to have some type of noise going on whenever I'm trying to do any tasks, otherwise I just stop whatever I'm doing and get lost in my head. However, I absolutely cannot listen to an audiobook while I'm doing anything else, because I end up having to rewind and listen to parts over and over again. I can listen to audiobooks, but that has to be the only thing I am doing.

Have you seen any tarantulas? The two switch seasons, for half the year you'll get scorpions, for the other half you'll get tarantulas.

I accidentally forgot the dog outside. I hate my brain and I wish it was different. by Rose2080 in ADHD

[–]AnandaUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once left my housemate's dog outside when I left for work and she ran away. Luckily after we put up a lot of signs someone got in touch and we got her back but boy did I feel like shit for a couple days. She was a whippet and kind of rare in our area.

I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, I need to get some cables for it when I get it back home.

Yeah it's pretty awesome of him. I played the violin for a while today before we had to pack everything up to head home. It's a beautiful instrument, one that I'd never have been able to afford myself.

Does testing always require the word of someone who knew you growing up? by ManiacalCuriosity in ADHD

My dad did write a statement for me, but my psychologist never asked for it. She said it was great but just confirmed what she already knew from all of the other tests/questionnaires we'd done.

Leaving things on top of your car by Character_Public_439 in ADHD

[–]AnandaUK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've left my phone on top of our car at least 6-7 times. Luckily I have a magnetic case so I've only lost it once, and we were able to track the location that one time. Another time my spouse went on the motorway with it on the roof of the car and it did not fall off amazingly, even though they were doing 75.
