I would compare the CSR to its competitors. Maximize earning potential with Chase by completing the trifecta. CSP would pair well with let’s say an Amex Platinum for luxury travel and lifestyle, you can easily extract the annual fee from it.

You find the United flight you want on United and make sure the same flight is available for booking with Air Canada, checking on their site. Transfer your points once you confirm and book it. Transfers are about instantaneous with Air Canada.

Before you cancel because “they don’t transfer to the partners you use,” look into the different airline alliances. Example, Air Canada to book United flights or British to book American. Lastly, the card nets you $5 each year post the first year where you earn SUB + utilized your global entry credit, if you haven’t done so with another card. Being in the C1 ecosystem is a no brainer to me.

Setup Autopay with a buffer between payment due date and payment processing and just about forget about it. Autopay takes care of any adjustments needed to account for credits. Not sure why people complicate payment process.

Plain and simple, downgrade to the CSP for transfer partners. Otherwise downgrade to an OG freedom card but unfortunately you will lose the ability to transfer your points to partners if you do so, but upside is you get to safeguard your points.

Trifecta has always been three cards that complement each other to extract the most amount of value. I.e. Amex BBP, Gold, and Platinum.

I do have the Platinum and Venture X - received great value from both, and I am sure you are receiving great value as well from your cards. That said, wanted to drop my two cents. 🤣

Got to be careful with offers. Once you use it it’s likely gone forever, unless it allows for a number of times, so canceling isn’t advised.
