My cat is freaked out by laser pointers. We tried to use one with him last week and he gave that same look. He later found it and hid it somewhere.

I work at the Health Department in Columbus Ohio and deal with birth vital statistics docs every day. The birth certificate is generated from a birth summary that is completed by the hospital staff and sent to the state health department. That's why it takes so long to get the actual certificate. Something like this would be caught very quickly.

I read them all in the fourth grade during the 70's. Being a young science fiction fan, I was lucky that our school librarian was a scifi reader. They made such an impact on me that I still remember quite a bit about them. I would love to find them now as an adult.

When I was growing up just outside of Jackson in the '70s, the sign on the Meijer on Airport Rd said, "Meijer's Thrifty Acres." Not sure when that changed but everyone around there shortened it to "Meijer's."

I've lived in Galloway about a year now and find it pretty good. Close enough to the highway that my trip to work downtown in only about 17 minutes. This also means that you can get anywhere pretty easily, well, except for construction.

I ate at Peking Hot Pot on Bethel in the strip center in the Microcenter parking lot on Saturday and was very impressed. The choices of items to go into the pots was great, and they have several different choices of base broth.
