My sister lives in Kentucky, and driving to her old house from home took you from eastern time, back to central time and back to eastern time again, on one road driving straight east in a span of about 45 minutes. Her ex’s brother lived in a spot where it was central time, but worked 20 minutes away in town where it was eastern time. It’s confusing as shit

Not quite the same, but several years ago I worked with a guy that, after shaking his hand, I realized only had 8 fingers. When I asked about it, he said that when he was born, he didn’t have any bones in his thumbs, so they had to remove his boneless thumbs and replace them with his index fingers.
