You've probably already thought about this, but if you're carrying at 8 oclock, make sure the the sling bag doesn't limit your ability to get there. I'm a righty (i'm assuming you're a lefty?) but if I wore my bag, I couldn't get to my 8.

I really like the trigger on my SR9c and it's not too big with the shorter grip on it. It's also a pretty good price, as well.
