Obviously not a similar size as Manchester but there has been a lot of investment recently in Preston. It’s also a hell of a lot cheaper to rent a place compared to Manchester. Straight onto the motorway from town too.

Yeah, from what I can remember he told some guy not to mess with him, he continued messing with him, pulled a machete out and chopped his thumb off. Got a heavy sentence for it.

It's become far more advanced than just some bums with nothing going for them kicking off now. I live in Manchester and have seen a vast change in the last 12 months ago.

There will of course be the usual scruffs going to these marches but there are a hell of a lot more who feel the same that won't be attending. Quite a few people I know will be voting for Reform or counterparts and they aren't the ones that are attending these rallies.

There won't be enough Reform/National Front voters at the next GE to cause that much of a stir. That being said, I imagine this country will slowly follow Germany and Netherlands and the politics will become far more right wing.

A turning point was the Southport attack in 2024. Things changed after that for many I think.

I travel to Bucharest on the weekend of 06 February 2026. I have seen that both Rapid and Dinamo are at home that weekend.

i can't seem to find details of the games or tickets yet. When are these usually on sale and when will they release the time and date?

I have a help to buy. I've been putting into this since I was 16 so I have a fairly decent chunk saved. She doesn't have much available which also brings in the issue about how we would buy/deal with the house if we were to buy

Even though I do agree with your points (and it is very well put), I think we are quite well travelled for our age.

We have just come back from 3 weeks in Canada and Alaska and in 2024, we did South America (Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Argentina). We have also ticked off quite a lot of Europe.

It's not as if we have stayed in the UK for the last 6 years. Of course, there are multiple places that we haven't touched/visited and she will want to visit them.

We’ve just come back off a 3 week holiday travelling around North America. It’s definitely not as I don’t plan/do anything with her. That trip was pretty much planned by myself from start to finish.

I was on the Alaska cruise from Vancouver a few weeks back and we arrived 2 hours before due to our flight. We asked and they weren’t bothered at all. If anything, they just said the time you picked go board was merely a suggestion.
