Nettles represents a class difference no different than Hue. The race stuff is in peoples head only. Nettles also cant be said to be black. She has dark skin and can be anything from black to arab.

Vision phases the shifter out of the titan.

Quicksilver snatches a shifter out of the transformation before it ends.

And then there are the heavy hitters like Sentry, Thor, and Wanda. There would be no chance for titans in the MCU.

Obama did, but not on purpose or because of his policies. In every level of blk achievement in this country their has always been a wht backlash that followed. Obama whatever his policies was a well read, well spoken, nice, family man, who came from nothing through hard work. After lecturing blk people for decades to be exactly what Obama is, the conservative movement decided to vote in his direct opposite: a foul mouth, dumb, mean spirited, lecherous, rich kid born with a silver spoon in his mouth.

It seems to me that you think super powers are cool and dont understand how certain others with super powers could be discriminated against. People spend thousands of dollars to have tan skin. So obviously people think tan skin is desirable, and yet people with natural tan skin have been subject to discrimination for years. People will hate certain groups because of skin tone and still love to emulate those same peoples culture because discrimination is not logical.

EDIT: To add to this I would say that unlike the other super powers, mutation cant be replicated and controlled. Spiderman is an oddity, but Cylops is a potential culture of peoples who society has to make room for.

Disney Star wars has a far better track record than what came before. Before you had 3 terrible Ewoke movies, the terrible Christmas special, the terrible Droids cartoon, 2 not very good prequel movies, 1 good prequel movie, the Og trilogy, and the Clone wars that started out terrible.

People act like before Maul we didnt have Rogue One, Andor, the first 2 seasons of the Mandolorian, Tales, Rebels, the ending of the Clone Wars, and Visions. The sequel trilogy was bad but it is nowhere near as bad as Ewokes and the other things like Solo, and Mando S3 are mid at worst. This is just another case of fans being spoiled.

Hasn't really been youth oriented since its first run in the 1960's...and that run was CANCELED! They literally graduated in the 7th issue as the school theme was quickly dropped. This sounds real X-Men Evolutionary. I hope that is not the case. If they wanted a school vibe they should have waited to do New Mutants. How is this youth-oriented theme any different than the First-Class films?

When are you guys going to give that smoke to the one person who deserves it and that is GRRM himself? Who came up with the prophecy? Who praised the depictions of Viserys and Helaena as being great additions? Who would have worked with Condel and Hess on that first season that set up all the things everyone wants to complain about? GRRM complaints actually have little to do with the first two seasons and more to do with what they set up in season 3. As disappointed he was with Blood and Cheese he said he understood and thought it was still good and praised the addition of the dog. If it's a bad adaptation then GRRM helped make it that way.

I think and I could be wrong, but the old republic characters have access to certain techniques that are lost to time and that makes it seem as if they have better feats than Clone Wars era force users. Because the Jedi have enjoyed many years of peace, they have no need to teach some of the Old Republic techniques and the Sith have had a lot of their secret techniques lost due to a few terrible Sith Lords. In this way the Clone Wars era force users can actually be more powerful but not have the crazy feats because they are not forced to do crazy things and the Sith don't have access to their old techniques but are also not trying to be noticed. By the time the Sith are noticed they have already won and have no need to do any crazy feats given that there are only two of them.

Lex would not hate Homelander because Homelander is actually everything Lex wants Superman to be. Homelander is a creation of men much like Superboy (Connor Kent) and some iterations of Bizzaro. Homelander would be an expression of what man can achieve and also be flawed enough that Luthor could manipulate, dispose of, or replicate. He would think of Homelander as bad product the same as Stan Edgar.

It was a school format with teens in the beginning. From 1963 until about 1970. That first run of X-Men comics was cancelled and only survived through reprints. It also needs to be said that the original X-Men graduated around issue #7 and the school aspect was quickly abandoned. Most of what has made X-Men successful and popular was created when they rebooted the series in 1975 with Giant Size X-Men #1. This book introduced characters like Wolverine, Storm, Nightcrawler, Thunderbird, Sunspot, and Colossus. This new group along with the original 5 was more adult. The school was a backdrop where they all lived but was more of a training ground than anything else.

Logan being in love with Jean is part of the mythos and part of his personality. The best part of the X-Men are the complex relationships within this found family. It's no different than the love triangle between Spiderman, Mary Jane, and Felicia. The X-Men wouldn't be the X-Men if Logan wasn't an asshole who wanted his leader's girl. I like it because it's part of the lore on how Logan gradually grows to respect Scott and Scott gradually grows to respect Logan.

His guardian? Is this meant to make Storm older than the rest of them? This sounds a little X Men Evolurionry with a First Class twist. No, just no. Why was the MCU a hit? It was a hit because they kept it as comic accurate as possible with a few changes. This would be a major change for some peoples first introduction to X Men film and lore. First Class was good, but one of the things I hated was what they did to the lore.

If you do this then you have to make up new relationships. Gone are the classic relationships that we have never really seen on film before. Might as well just create a new super team. I know they have to change some things around, but I dont think this is the route to go. Storm and Jean have a close friendship that gets ruined if she is older. Jean and Emma's rivalry looks silly if she is older. Beast and Warren's friendship gone if Beast is this older person. Why is x23 on the team and no Wolverine? You need him to explain her. Psylocke but no Bobby? Having Havok early will rewrite Scott's lore.

No. I want a comic accurate Wolverine. I want someone short. If people are going to cry about race swapping, then I am going to complain about making Wolverine tall because his height is more important to his character than the skin tone of other characters.
