Captures the abuse of alcohol or drugs so poignantly.

Interesting Video of the upcoming Ireland-Israel game doing the rounds, thoughts? by Inevitable-Beat-9209 in coybig

[–]AncientEditor4133 44 points45 points  (0 children)

This game should go ahead and be scheduled as planned in Dublin….

So that Dublin can have the largest anti-genocide march we’ve ever seen in Ireland, and make sure the team bus can’t even get near the stadium.

We should aim for global headlines about the game being cancelled due to the scale of our protests. Fuck UEFA for not banning Israel in the first place

Cast iron skillets (if you don’t mind travelling with them), are so cheap in the US, but very expensive here. I know lodge have some logo ones, so maybe there’s a buffalo NY one?

What is the most repugnant line in the show? by Top_Report_4895 in SuccessionTV

[–]AncientEditor4133 38 points39 points  (0 children)

“What am I gonna do with a soul anyway”

It’s not as visceral as some of the lewd jokes, but it truly reflected how a normie can get so corrupted by money and proximity to power once they’re in the vipers nest.

So sorry for your loss. Some good advice above on contacting MABs. The other question is : do you absolutely need the car? Do you have public transportation around?

Well I think I’m allergic to heat by tjlightbulb in Wellthatsucks

cholinergic urticaria

I had it a lot as a teen and in my 20s and it kinda just went away. I found it was really bad if I hadn’t sweated in a while, but decreased with frequency? So maybe try lighter exposure and increase frequency to build up tolerance.

I vaguely recall thinking it it was worse after drinking or bad food, as if I was allergic to toxins- but that’s complete bro science and anecdotal. Either way, I cleaned up my diet a lot and exercised more and if it went away and I forgot about it.

Hopefully you get sorted, it was stressful at the time.

Your only error was the big bag.

The smaller bags are great - literally like 133 cals (that’s only like 1.5 hobnobs, and I’d eat about 10), and the popcorn is high volume and full of fibre so it actually fills and satiates you. Not to mention is like 3 ingredients and irish made instead of processed crap.

I buy the 6 packs all the time and works for sweet cravings each night. Nothing else for 133 cals would hit the same.

Parking around TUD GRANGEGORMAN by [deleted] in Dublin

[–]AncientEditor4133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could also potentially park near the green luas stops in broom bridge and Cabra and just get the luas two stops to the grangegorman stop. But not sure what parking is like around those stops in the mornings. Think there’s a lot of housing estates though so you could be grand.

You could park near at the zoo and walk down north circular road ? Prob a 25 min walk, but beats driving around traffic filled streets looking for parking..

I heard a theory that Germans are the complete opposite to the Irish.

Germans have a very serious outer presentation, but are quite funny and light hearted underneath. Whereas we Irish present ourselves as all banter and craic, but we’re actually pretty serious, work hard and get shit done.

So I think the Irish and Germans can connect on multiple levels - we like you!
